ASHEVILLE — A.C. Reynolds running back I’dre Bell accepted a preferred walk-on position at Appalachian State, according to a report in the Asheville Citizen Times.

Bell gained 602 yards and six touchdowns on 62 carries and caught 30 passes for 322 yards and five touchdowns before he suffered a knee injury on Sept. 28 in a game against Tuscola.

Reynolds coach Shane Laws told the Citizen Times on June 4 Bell’s plan to play at App State .
