I would like to thank all the staff at Watauga Medical Center ICU section that helped with my mother, Marian Greeno, as she was passing from this life into the next this past week.

Everyone from the travel nurses to the regular resident staff were as kind and compassionate as anyone could ever hope for. And all the while dealing with their other difficult duties.

They all went the extra mile to make a very painful time as tolerable as it could be. I don’t believe most people realize just how difficult and stressful these folks jobs are.

This type of work must weigh heavily on any individual and is something you can’t easily just shake off. We should all be extremely thankful that we have people in our midst that genuinely care about the human condition. I cannot thank them enough.
