This letter is not to “bring down,” but to uplift.

I am a mother of four. My family and I walk everywhere we need to go due to no vehicle currently. I want the town of Boone to know how much I appreciate them. Being snowed in at work and walking home is worrisome at best in the recent storm we had, but knowing someone thought about people in the community that must do so scrapped the sidewalks. What a blessing.

Walking my children anywhere is hard enough, but knowing the town cares and even considers such is outstanding. When we had transportation I was thankful for clear roads and the long nights/days workers put in to make traveling easier for us all.

Please know that it never goes unnoticed or under appreciated. I thank you and pray for you and your family for your sacrifice for us.
