Para satisfacer las necesidades de los trabajadores de la salud, los materiales de capacitación en control de infecciones deben considerar la limitación en la aptitud y capacidad de los trabajadores y adaptarse a sus necesidades. El Proyecto Firstline de los CDC ofrece materiales de capacitación en pequeños módulos que están diseñados para la práctica y el uso sobre la marcha para integrarlos en la jornada laboral.
