July 8

PROPERTY DAMAGE: Damage to the back glass of a Mitsubishi Endeavor was reported in the 800 block of Slabtown Road, Zionville.

MULTIPLE OFFENSES: Breaking and entering a motor vehicle and larceny of three pieces of sound equipment were reported in the 100 block of Westview Heights, Boone.

CIVIL DISTURBANCE: A civil disturbance was reported in the 1900 block of Sampson Road, Boone.

PROPERTY DAMAGE: Injury to a door frame was reported in the 100 block of Red Bank Road, Banner Elk.

July 9

ARREST: Judith Lynn Dillashaw, 28, of 775 Hicks Hollow Lane, Elk Park, was arrested and charged with felony probation violation. Dillashaw was issued a $10,000 secured bond and an Aug. 21 court date.

ARREST: Tasha Nicole Ashley, 30, of 212 Montana Drive, Boone, was arrested and charged with misdemeanor probation violation. Ashley was issued an $11,500 secured bond and an Aug. 9 court date.

ARREST: Dorenda Sue Adkins, 54, of 877 Slabtown Road, Zionville, was arrested and charged with second-degree trespassing. Adkins was released on a written promise and was given an Aug. 30 court date.

ARREST: William Brandon Fritts, 40, of 638 Adams Road, Mountain City, Tenn., was arrested and charged with felony probation violation. Fritts was issued a $10,000 secured bond and an Aug. 19 court date.

LARCENY: Larceny of two vehicle batteries was reported in the 2800 block of U.S. 321 North, Sugar Grove.

BREAKING/ENTERING: Breaking and entering was reported in the 100 block of Swamp Box Road, Boone.

July 10

VEHICLE COLLISION: A vehicle accident was reported in the 100 block of U.S. 321 North, Vilas.

LARCENY: Larceny of John Deere bib pants, Wolverine shorts, Carhartt shorts and various kids clothes was reported in the 2200 block of Old U.S. 421 South, Boone.

UNAUTHORIZED USE: Unauthorized use of a motor vehicle was reported in the 300 block of Seven Oaks Road, Boone.

July 11

ARREST: Makala Lee O’Brien, 20, of 11222 U.S. 421 South, Trade, Tenn., was arrested and charged with felony probation violation. O’Brien was issued a $15,000 secured bond and a Sept. 3 court date.

ARREST: Christopher Lee Cox, 72, of 176 Montana Drive, Boone, was arrested and charged with driving while license revoked impaired revocation and reckless driving with wanton disregard. Cox was issued a $2,500 secured bond and an Aug. 26 court date.

ARREST: Timothy Ray Watson, 31, of 103 Ray Hamby Lane, Deep Gap, was arrested on an order for arrest and charged with failure to appear on a possession of drug paraphernalia charge. Watson was issued a $4,000 secured bond and an Aug. 28 court date.

ARREST: Felicia Ann Ward, 33, of 163 Red Maple Lane, Boone, was arrested and charged with a misdemeanor offense. Ward was released on a written promise and was given an Aug. 26 court date.

ARREST: Jennifer Tester Miller, 40, of 1090 Otis Wilson Road, Zionville, was arrested and charged with violation of a court order. Miller was issued a $500 secured bond and an Aug. 30 court date.

THEFT: Motor vehicle theft of a Toyota Corolla was reported in the 100 block of Roaring Fork Road, Todd.

DRUG VIOLATION: Drug/narcotic violations by bringing contraband into the Watauga County Detention Center was reported in the 100 block of Hodges Gap Road, Boone.

July 12

ARREST: Myra Nicole Dotson, 24, of 140 Nestle Road, Boone, was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance on prison/jail premises. No bond amount or court date were listed.

ARREST: Danny Lee Osborne, 46, of 12123 U.S. 421 North, Zionville, was arrested and charged with trafficking in methamphetamine and maintaining a place for a controlled substance. Osborne was issued a $100,000 secured bond and an Aug. 30 court date.

July 13

FALSE PRETENSE: Obtaining property by false pretenses by frauding people in the purchase of a dog was reported in the 100 block of Grover Norris Road, Zionville.

MULTIPLE OFFENSES: Attempted larceny of water tubes and destruction/damage/vandalism of property were reported reported in the 200 block of Block River Road, Boone.

MULTIPLE OFFENSES: Breaking and entering a building and destruction/damage/vandalism of household goods were reported in the 200 block of Bluebird Lane, Boone.

July 14

ARREST: Bertha Jean Hodges, 43, of 4842 Meat Camp Road, Todd, was arrested and charged with possession of a schedule II controlled substance. Hodges was issued a $3,500 secured bond and an Aug. 30 court date.

SHOPLIFTING: Shoplifting of a Dewalt air filter was reported in the 2200 block of Old U.S. 421 South, Boone.

BREAKING/ENTERING: Breaking and entering was reported in the 400 block of Pine Hill Road.

MISSING ITEM: A Samsung Galaxy S7 was reported lost or stolen in the 3000 block of N.C. 194 North, Boone.
