June 10

ARREST: Timothy Wilson Critcher, 45, of 1767 Burkett Road, Boone, was arrested and charged with failure to pay child support. Critcher was issued a $1,305 secured bond and a July 25 court date.

ARREST: Chelsea Amanda Brooke Cobb, 27, of 8507 Three Top Road, Todd, was arrested and charged with probation violation, misdemeanor larceny and second-degree trespassing. Cobb was issued a $24,000 secured bond and a July 11 court date.

ARREST: Samantha Wileen Clouser, 46, of 131 Jones Street, Warrensville, was arrested and charged with failure to appear on charges of driving while license revoked and possession of marijuana. Clouser was issued a $1,000 secured bond and an Aug. 9 court date.

OFFENSE: Harassment was reported in the 100 block of South Slope Loop, Banner Elk.

MULTIPLE OFFENSES: Breaking and entering a building and larceny of purses/handbags/wallets and a flat screen TV were reported in the 100 block of Poplar Creek Estates Drive, Todd.

MULTIPLE OFFENSES: Breaking and entering a building and injury to a door were reported in the 1200 block of Old 421 S., Boone.

FLEED/ELUDE: Fleeing/eluding an arrest with a motor vehicle was reported in the 100 block of Hubert Norris Road, Boone.

June 11

ARREST: James Christopher Cole, 49, of 8600 U.S. 421 S., Trade, Tenn., was arrested and charged with obtaining property by false pretense and failure to stop at a hit/run with property damage. Cole was issued a $1,500 secured bond and a July 22 court date.

ARREST: James Kristopher Hall, 32, of 116 Canna Drive, Hayes, was arrested and charged with driving while license revoked. Hall was issued a $500 secured bond and a July 22 court date.

ARREST: Thomas Jon Peluso, 42, of 1230 Old U.S. 421 S., Deep Gap, was arrested on an order for arrest on a misdemeanor probation violation charge. Peluso was issued a $5,000 secured bond and a July 5 court date.

ARREST: Matthew Lee Starke, 28, of 734 N. MacMillan Ave., Unit 1H, Wilmington, was arrested and charged with failure to appear on an assault on a female charge. Starke was issued a $10,000 secured bond and a July 2 court date.

RECOVERED PROPERTY: Recovered property of three bongs, two grinders, a herbal vaporizer and two scales were reported in the 300 block of Mustard Field, Boone.

June 12

ARREST: Timothy Wilson Critcher, 45, of 1767 Burkett Road, Boone, was arrested and charged with flee/elude arrest with a motor vehicle, driving while license revoked not impaired revocation and driving/allowing without a registration plate. Critcher was issued a $2,500 secured bond and a July 22 court date.

ARREST: Grayson Joseph Woods, 37, of 7974 Elk Creek Darby Road, Ferguson, was arrested and charged with driving while license revoked. Woods was released on a written promise. No court date was listed.

LICENSE REVOKED: Driving while license revoked was reported in the 5700 block of U.S. 421 N., Vilas.

June 13

ARREST: Allison Betina Roark, 24, of 1119 Randolph St., Room 125, Thomasville, was arrested and charged with failure to appear. Roark was issued a $3,000 secured bond and a June 25 court date.

ARREST: Matthew Sion Taylor, 32, of 3305 Clark’s Creek Road, Banner Elk, was arrested and charged with unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. Taylor was released on a written promise and was given a July 26 court date.

FRAUD: Fraudulent misrepresentation was reported in the 100 block of Kim’s way, Boone.

UNAUTHORIZED USE: Unauthorized use of a motor vehicle was reported in the 3300 block of Clark’s Creek Road, Banner Elk.

June 14

ARREST: Christy Jade Boone, 32, of 221 Joe Shoemaker Road, Vilas, was arrested and charged with being a fugitive from justice. Boone was issued a $50,000 secured bond and a July 26 court date.

ARREST: Ashley Diamond Vaught, 29, of 3976 Smokey Creek Road, Lenoir, was arrested and charged with possession of heroin, maintaining a place for a controlled substance and felony possession of marijuana. Vaught was issued a $50,000 secured bond and a July 5 court date.

ARREST: Michael William Brown, 53, of 168 Brown Hollow Road, Creston, was arrested and charged with flee/elude arrest with a motor vehicle, possession of drug paraphernalia and assault on a female. Brown was issued a $17,500 secured bond and a July 17 court date.

LARCENY: Larceny of a Sears and Roebuck shotgun and an Eastern Arms shotgun was reported in the 200 block of Ricky’s Way, Boone.

MULTIPLE OFFENSES: Communicating threats and fraud were reported in the 100 block of Bambam’s Lane, Boone.

BREAKING/ENTERING: Breaking and entering a building was reported in the 200 block of Ivan Trivett Road, Vilas.

June 15

ARREST: Brett-Wayne Franklin Bond, 32, of 497 Old U.S. 421, Boone, was arrested and charged with two counts of non-support of a child. Bond was issued a $76,471 and a July 25 court date.

VANDALISM: Destruction/damage/vandalism of a porch and a trailer was reported in the 100 block of Cranberry Creek Lane, Zionville.

CALLS: The Watauga County Sheriff’s Office reported one call for service in the 200 block of Ivan Trivett Road, Vilas.
