May 28

MULTIPLE OFFENSES: Drug/narcotics violations and drug equipment violations were reported in the 100 block of Ruthies Road, Boone.

June 3

ARREST: Jeremy Blake Hodges, 35, of 2946 Beaver Dam Road, Vilas, was arrested and charged with a domestic violence protection order violation. Hodges was issued a $2,500 secured bond and a June 27 court date.

LARCENY: Larceny of a Rolex watch, a Cartier diamond bracelet and approximately 10 other bracelets and necklaces was reported in the 600 block of Sunrise Valley Drive, Boone.

LARCENY: Larceny of five pieces of welding equipment was reported in the 200 block of Complex Drive, Boone.

LARCENY: Larceny of $750 worth of rock building materials was reported in the 2500 block of Hardin Road, Boone.

June 4

ARREST: Judith Lynn Dillashaw, 28, of 775 Hicks Hollow Lane, Elk Park, was arrested and charged with no insurance. Dillashaw was issued a $750 secured bond and a July 22 court date.

ARREST: Timothy Wilson Critcher, 45, of 1767 Burkett Road, Boone, was arrested and charged with assault on a female and communicating threats. Critcher was not issued a bond and was given a June 6 court date.

ARREST: Micheal Raheen Burbage, 24, of 118 Howard Winkler Road, Boone, was arrested and charged with driving while license revoked and possession of drug paraphernalia. Burbage was issued a $2,000 secured bond and a July 27 court date.

FALSE PRETENSE: False pretenses/swindle/confidence game and theft of $23,000 was reported in the 400 block of Hardaman Circle, Boone.

VANDALISM: Destruction/damage/vandalism of a Toyota Camry was reported in the 9100 block of N.C. 105 South, Banner Elk.

June 5

ARREST: Joshua Kyle Romanat, 29, of 5359 New Centre Drive, Apt. B, Wilmington, was arrested and charged with DWI. Romanat was released on a written promise and was given a July 26 court date.

ARREST: Eugene Gurney Canter, 43, of 4938 Meat Camp Road, Todd, was arrested and charged with failure to appear on a driving while license revoked charge. Canter was issued a $7,500 secured bond and a July 19 court date.

ARREST: Garry Joseph Cox, 41, of 283 Tyler Lane, Boone, was arrested and charged with possession with intent to manufacture, sell and deliver a schedule II controlled substance. Cox was issued a $15,000 secured bond and a June 28 court date.

LARCENY: Larceny of an LG cell phone was reported in the area of Ford Road, Boone.

LARCENY: Larceny of a Ford box truck was reported in the 800 block of N.C. 105 Bypass, Boone.

June 6

ARREST: Lauren Kay Oliver, 27, of 181 Roe Miller Lane, Vilas, was arrested and charged with driving while license revoked. Oliver was released on a written promise and was given a July 22 court date.

ARREST: Malcolm Deshawn Steele, 26, of 322 Clawson St., Apt. 308, Boone, was arrested and charged with failure to appear on a possession of marijuana charge. Steele was issued a $1,000 secured bond and a June 24 court date.

ARREST: Erica Arlene Eller, 31, of 140 Roaring River Drive, Hayes, was arrested and charged with simple assault and injury to personal property. Eller was issued a $500 secured bond and a June 28 court date.

ARREST: George Nicholas Jordan Foster, 29, of 515 Junaluska Road, Boone, was arrested and charged with failure to pay child support. Foster was issued a $1,500 secured bond and a July 25 court date.

ASSAULT: Simple assault was reported in the 100 block of Canter Road, Todd.

THREATS: Communicating threats was reported in the 2100 block of Deerfield Road, Boone.

THEFT: Theft of a kayak, two life jackets and two paddles from a motor vehicle was reported in the 100 block of Mesa Circle, Boone.

MULTIPLE OFFENSES: Simple assault and injury to personal property were reported in the 800 block of West King Street, Boone.

OFFENSE: A report of a person allegedly attempting to use personal information illegally was reported in the 200 block of Shady Grove Road, Boone.

June 7

ARREST: Steven Ray Pruitt, 55, of 131 Sunalei View, Zionville, was arrested and charged with failure to appear on a probation violation charge. Pruitt was issued a $10,000 secured bond and a July 5 court date.

ARREST: Daniel Cole Featherstone, 28, of 155 John Thomas Drive, Boone, was arrested and charged with larceny of a firearm. Featherstone was issued a $10,000 secured bond and a July 22 court date.

FRAUD: Credit card/automatic teller machine fraud was reported in the 500 block of Indian Paintbrush Drive, Banner Elk.

June 9

ARREST: Brendan Michael Welch, 31, of 105 Summit St., Boone, was arrested and charged with having a fictitious registration plate. No bond amount or court date were listed.

ARREST: Michael Rae Jones, 31, of 155 Cannon Drive, Boone, was arrested and charged with DWI. Jones was released on a written promise and was given a July 26 court date.

ARREST: Jeffrey Hayden Marks, 40, of 190 Preacher Billings Road, Banner Elk, was arrested and charged with assault on a female. Marks was not issued a bond and was given a July 22 court date.

ARREST: Joshua Duane Wilson, 29, of 1935 Silverstone Road, Zionville, was arrested and charged with DWI. Wilson was released on a written promise and was given a July 26 court date.

VANDALISM: Destruction/damage/vandalism of two vehicle tires was reported in the 200 block of Westin Way, Boone.

FLOODED VEHICLE: A Ford Trailblazer being flooded was reported in the 500 block of River Road, Todd.

OFFENSE: A DWI was reported in the 2900 block of U.S. 421, Boone.
