Nov. 26

ARREST: Jamie Lynn Reece, 41, of 1123 Bulldog Road, Trade, Tenn., was arrested and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of methamphetamine. Reece was issued a $3,000 secured bond and a Jan. 18 court date.

COUNTERFEITING: Counterfeiting/forgery was reported in the 1000 block of East King Street.

Nov. 27

ARREST: Tyler Dylan Hassan, 19, of 541 Midkiff Road, Greensboro, was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana and possession of a schedule I controlled substance. Hassan was issued a $3,000 secured bond and a Dec. 14 court date.

MULTIPLE OFFENSES: Two counts of larceny after breaking and entering of five chainsaws, two backpack blowers, one bag and Stihl mixing oil cases, two counts of criminal damage to property and two counts of breaking and entering were reported in the 600 block of N.C. 105 Extension.

MULTIPLE OFFENSES: Burglary/breaking and entering, destruction/damage/vandalism of property and larceny of 10 tool items were reported in the 200 block of Wallace Circle.

EMBEZZLEMENT: Embezzlement was reported in the 100 block of Doctors Drive.

Nov. 28

ARREST: Justin Kevin Anderson, 28, of 134 Beck Court, Boone, was arrested on a warrant service on changes of maintaining a dwelling for schedule VI and II controlled substances, possession with intent to sell and deliver a schedule VI controlled substance and possession of a schedule II controlled substance. Anderson was issued a $15,000 secured bond and a Jan. 18 court date.

MULTIPLE OFFENSES: Breaking and entering, tampering with a motor vehicle, misdemeanor larceny of a dealer tag, breaking and entering a motor vehicle and damage to property were reported in the 400 block of East King Street.

Nov. 29

ARREST: Angela Renee Byrd, 46, of 338 Brook Hollow Road, Boone, was arrested on a warrant service on a non-Boone Police Department warrant and was charged with trespassing and concealment of merchandise. Byrd was issued a $1,500 secured bond and a Dec. 14 court date.

COUNTERFEITING: Counterfeiting/forgery was reported in the 100 block of Realty Row.

MULTIPLE OFFENSES: Trespassing and concealment of merchandise of various tools and art supplies were reported in the 200 block of Watauga Village Drive.

Nov. 30

ARREST: Erick Moises Arroyo, 24, of 334 Jenwill Drive, Deep Gap, was arrested and charged with a protective order violation. Arroyo was not issued a bond. No court date was listed.

IDENTITY THEFT: Identity theft was reported in the 300 block of Rogers Drive.

FRAUD: Wire fraud was reported in the 200 block of Watauga Village Drive.

Dec. 1

ARREST: Addison Anne Witherspoon, 28, of 380 Broadstone Road, Unit 1, Banner Elk, was arrested and charged with speeding and DUI. Witherspoon was released on a written promise and was given a Dec. 14 court date.

ARREST: William Raymond Code, 39, of 404 S.E. Garrou Ave., Valdese, was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana less than a half of an ounce and possession of a firearm by a felon. Code was issued a $20,000 secured bond and a Dec. 13 court date.

ARREST: William Derrick Michael, 39, of 857 Rominger Road, Banner Elk, was arrested and charged with simple possession of a schedule II controlled substance, reckless driving and DUI. Michael was issued a $750 secured bond and a Jan. 18 court date.

MULTIPLE OFFENSES: Larceny of a laptop mouse, laptop charger, an Anatomy Physiology textbook and a backpack and breaking and entering a motor vehicle were reported in the 300 block of Madison Avenue.

Dec. 2

ARREST: Zachary Ryan Arrowsmith, 23, of 157 Maplewood Circle, Apt. 1, Boone, was arrested and charged with resisting a public officer. Arrowsmith was issued a $500 secured bond and a Dec. 14 court date.

ARREST: Cassandra J. Dula, 38, of 166 Autumn Ridge Road, Boone, was arrested on a warrant service on a non-Boone Police Department warrant. Dula was issued a $1,000 secured bond and a Jan. 14 court date.

ARREST: Gabriel Alexander Duran, 26, of 3494 U.S. 221, Marion, was arrested on a warrant service on a non-Boone Police Department warrant. Duran was issued a $6,000 secured bond and a Dec. 21 court date.

ARREST: Olivia Bishop Grit, 19, of 304 High Meadows, Boone, was arrested and charged with resisting a public officer and consuming alcohol underage. Grit was issued a $1,000 secured bond and a Jan. 18 court date.

ARREST: Noah Zachary Waxman, 19, of 2018 Warwickshire Drive, Greensboro, was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana paraphernalia. Waxman was released on a written promise and given a Jan. 18 court date.
