SAHA Living Museum hosts Celtic Concert

Southern Appalachian Historical Association presented a Celtic Celebration at Horn in the West on Saturday, May 13. A crowd gathered around the back porch of the Coffey Cabin as musicians played traditional Celtic music. Six musicians played throughout the event in groups and independently. Traditional instruments, including a harp, hammered dulcimer, violin and a concertina were used to perform the traditional sound. Musicians performed in period costumes. R.G. Absher, Bob Kougut, Caroline Beverly, Mary Greene, Hannah Jean and Connie Woolard performed. Proceeds from the event benefit the Living Museum.
