On Sunday, July 14, author Frye Gaillard and recording artist Anne E. DeChant will come together for an evening of stories and song at High Country UCC. A potluck dinner will begin at 6 p.m., and the performance will follow at 7 p.m.

The program, entitled “With Music and Justice for All,” has been performed around the country, including in venues such as the Carter Presidential Library and the Newseum in Washington, D.C.

In the event, Gaillard presents brief readings from his works, which includes his most recent release “A Hard Rain.” Gaillard’s readings work to set the context for an acoustic performance of original songs by DeChant.

High Country UCC can be found at 6233 Highway 421-N in Vilas. For more details on the event, visit highcountryucc.org or call (828) 297-1092.
