BOONE — The removal of outside stucco from the Vetro Building, located at 589 W. King St., will result in adjacent parking spaces behind the Watauga County Veterans Memorial to be closed off.

The exterior of the building will be returned to its original brick, according to the Downtown Boone Development Association April 2019 newsletter.

In addition to limiting the adjacent parking, the pay station at the West King Street entrance has been moved to the far side of the lot.

According to Boone Planning and Inspections’ office, the project will altogether cost $45,000.
