The 70th Boone Area Chamber of Commerce Annual Membership meeting will be held on Aug. 1 and will be presented by SkyLine/SkyBest and Red Moon Catering. The event will be at the Holmes Convocation Center in Boone from 5-8 p.m.
An internationally acclaimed keynote speaker and the presentation of seven community awards will highlight the event. Bestselling author, Andrew Davis will deliver the event’s keynote address.
Prior to building and selling a thriving digital marketing agency, Davis produced for NBC’s “Today Show,” worked for “The Muppets” in New York and wrote for Charles Kuralt. He has appeared in publications such as the New York Times, Forbes, the Wall Street Journal as well as on television stations such as NBC and the BBC.
Davis has crafted documentary films and award-winning content for tiny start-ups and Fortune 5000 brands. He is recognized as one of the industry’s “Jaw-Dropping Marketing Speakers” and a mainstay on global marketing influencer lists. Davis puts his infectious enthusiasm and magnetic speaking style to good use, teaching several business leaders how to grow their businesses, transform their cities and leave their legacy.
Seven community awards winners will also be introduced to the audience and recognized with a special video presentation during the meeting. There will also be a formal introduction of six new members to the Boone Area Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, along with commentary from incoming Board Chair David Still.
