BOONE — Jackson Sumner & Associates recently announced the additions of Kimberly M. Bull as North Carolina marketing representative, Scott Banks as agency relations coordinator and Laura Edmonds as human resources and office manager.

Bull has 25 years of industry experience, split between the agency side and the company side, having most recently been specialty underwriter for a large transportation underwriting company.

“We are thrilled to add Kimberly to our marketing team, managing our North Carolina territory,” stated JSA President and CEO Danielle Wade. “Her experience and connections in the industry will be invaluable to N.C. agents, and we encourage them to see her as a high-quality resource which is there for them.”

Bull will support retail agents throughout N.C. and Tennessee and utilize her industry expertise to help agencies fulfill their potential with the breadth of products which JSA provides.

Banks will be moving into a newly created marketing role as agency relations coordinator. His duties will include CRM management, agency reporting and key account management. This new role was created to help identify new business opportunities through data analysis and encourage relationship growth between agencies, underwriting and marketing. Banks will remain at the Boone office.

Edmonds will helm all HR efforts including developing and communicating company policies and procedures to employees, managing the onboarding of new employees, personnel reviews and training opportunities and developing goals, objectives and systems to enhance the everyday experience and longterm careers for all of JSA’s 70+ employees.

“We are very pleased to have Laura join our team to head up our HR efforts,” stated Wade. “Her excellent organizational skills, enthusiasm and resourcefulness have been utilized since day one, and we are happy to have her on board as an integral part of the leadership of JSA.”
