Watauga High School juniors and seniors gathered on April 28 for a night of fun and dancing at prom with "Midnight in the Park" being the night's theme.

Watauga High School teacher Caitlin Zirkle said roughly 500 tickets were sold for the event that took place at the Art of Living Retreat Center.

Students danced to music provided by DJ Trevor Owens, enjoyed a photo booth with props provided by Boone Photo Booth and had refreshments provided by Friends of Watauga.

Students in attendance voted on their peers for prom court. Voted the senior king was Sam Crabbe, and Montana Mills was crowned queen. Grace Jeter took the title of junior princess, and Griffin Arquette was voted the prince.
