GREENSBORO — Kathryn Marie Stevens has been inducted into Greensboro College’s chapter of Alpha Chi, the interdisciplinary national honor society, and the college chapter of Sigma Tau Delta, the international honor society in English.

Stevens is a junior criminal justice and psychology major from Boone.

Alpha Chi, founded in 1922, is open to seniors who rank in the top 10 percent of their class and juniors who rank in the top 5 percent of their class. Sigma Tau Delta was established in 1924 at Dakota Wesleyan University to recognize “high achievement in English language and literature studies ... and to foster the discipline of English in all its aspects, including creative and critical writing.”
