We invite you to a fun series of classes in Scottish Country Dancing. This is the traditional social dancing of Scotland. It comes from English Country Dancing, ballet and French quadrilles (squares) and is related to Contra and Square Dancing. In these classes, you will learn how to do basic steps and figures for Scottish reels, jigs and strathspeys (slower, elegant dances).

You don't have to be Scottish.

You don't need a kilt.

You don't need a partner.

You will dance to great Celtic music!

You will exercise your mind and body!

You will learn about Scottish culture and heritage!

Please join us for this joyful dancing at St. Luke's Episcopal Church in Boone every Tuesday at 7:30 PM starting on Sept. 17th. This class is free.

Please call Lee or Joann Ryan at 828-264-2871 or text 828-406-3979 or email lfryan@wildblue.net for further information.
