SNIPS at The Pet Place

December 7th

11:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m.

For many years, Pet Place owners Sandy and Jeff Yarchin have supported animal welfare groups throughout the High Country, and SNIPS, of Watauga Humane Society, has been a frequent beneficiary. Besides hosting quarterly craft sales for SNIPS, the The Pet Place now keeps a kiosk of SNIPS merchandise on site full time.

On Saturday, December 7th, from 11:00 am 'til 3:00 pm, SNIPS,  will have an arts and crafts sale at The Pet Place, in the Harris Teeter Shopping Center, at 240 Shadowline Dr., in Boone.

You'll find dozens of really cool hand-made items for your pet (and even some for you): doggy poop bags with grommet and carabiner, holiday and sports team-themed bandanas, squeaky toy and blanket sets, water-resistant outdoor pet pads, catnip kick-sticks, pine cone bird seed feeders, Santa pet stockings, and animal-themed bowl cozies, hot pads, cell phone holders, and a lovely variety of holiday ornaments. Supplies are limited, so drop by early!

And while you're there, stock up on all of the other necessities and niceties you'll need to see that your pets are spoiled rotten this month - just as they should be!

Locally-owned for 19 years, The Pet Place is the only holistic, full-service pet store in the High Country. The trained staff has over 100 combined years of pet experience, and the shop has been voted “Best of the Best” pet store every year since 2008.

For more information, go to The Pet Place and follow them on Facebook.
