TKL World Class Cases presents the Mountain Acoustics Luthier Invitational gathering 33 of the finest luthiers from NC, VA, WV, TN, SC, GA and FL to exhibit and offer their stunning, acoustic, hand-crafted, string instruments including guitars, mandolins, banjos, dulcimers, fiddles, harp, ukuleles and variations of these. Opportunity to talk directly with the builders and order that custom dream instrument! Friday evening kicks off the event with a Luthier Jam free to the public. Hear the luthiers play their custom instruments. Host Luthier, Jay Lichty of Lichty Guitars in Tryon, NC guides the event. Appalachian Java will be onsite all 3 days with coffees, teas, desserts, sandwiches and more. Saturday and Sunday are exhibit days.

A Vintage String Instruments exhibit of over 50 rare instruments with some dating into the 1800's. An amazing private collection. Vintage Guitar magazine joins us as a sponsor.

A raffle for a Faith guitar built in 2017 in England adds to the fun. Will be displayed at Appalachian Java in Burnsville starting in March. Tickets are $5.00.

The Saturday evening concert presents multi-Grammy and CMA winner, Mark O'Connor with wife, Maggie. Concert is at the First Baptist Church on the Burnsville, NC town square. Tickets are $25.00. Not to be missed!
