Warm up and tap into your inner artist with FREE family-friendly arctic themed crafts during the Blowing Rock Winterfest.

Located at the south end of Main Street in downtown Blowing Rock, the Blowing Rock Art & History Museum is a perfect addition to your Winterfest itinerary.

While visiting, be sure to check out BRAHM's nine unique galleries with five seasonally rotating exhibits. Winter exhibitions include numerous highly acclaimed and some rarely viewed photography from Hugh Morton, founder of Grandfather Mountain. Expertly crafted bass, electric, and acoustic guitars made by Chris Capozzoli are featured in the Atwell Gallery. Rankin West Gallery features incredibly realistic wildlife carvings by Lenoir-based Pete Lupo and impressively detailed wildlife water color works by the late Sallie Middleton of Asheville.  Upstairs, guests can view photographs from musician and photographer, David Holt, capturing a variety of his musical mentors and heroes.

This event is generously sponsored by Chetola Resort and Spa.

The Museum is open Tuesday through Saturday from 10:00am to 5:00pm. Entry to the museum is ALWAYS FREE and open to the public.
