For two Texans who love to travel and hike, the mountains of North Carolina were the perfect locale for an intimate destination wedding. Westglow’s Greek Revival mansion provided a stately, elegant backdrop for a classic romantic wedding accented by simple floral touches.

Their Story | Bride: Adah, insurance claims management • Groom: Alan, real estate broker • How They Met: “We went to neighboring high schools, both played basketball, had mutual friends and worked at the same local grocery store, HEB. After a few months of dating in high school we went our separate ways for several years. In summer 2010, I moved back home and we reconnected, and have been together ever since. I like to think that means it was meant to be. I have known him for more than half my life and am truly blessed to marry my best friend.”
