Ms. Pamela Rene’ Winkler Ruppert, 40, of Clemmons, a native and former resident of Watauga County, died Saturday morning, Dec. 25, 2004, at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem.
She was born May 18, 1964, in Boone, to Roy Richard Winkler and Burlee Church Winkler.
Ms. Ruppert attended Watauga High School and was a cashier at Snacks Convenience Store in Winston-Salem. She was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include one daughter, Brittnei Ruppert, of the home; one son, Justin Brooks Ruppert of Clemmons; her mother, Burlee Church Jones and her husband, Paul, of Winston-Salem; her father, Roy R. Winkler of Boone; one sister, Mariette Winkler Lisk and husband, Kenneth, and one nephew, Ean Lisk, all of Boone; four step-brothers, Craig Moretz and Brian Moretz, both of Winston-Salem; Greg Jones of Mojawe, Calif. and Christopher Jones of Winston-Salem.
Services were conducted Wednesday afternoon at 2 p.m. at Hayworth-Miller Funeral Home, Silas Creek Chapel, in Winston-Salem, officiated by the Rev. Michael Barfoot and the Rev. Sylvia Wilhelm.
Burial followed in Pine Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery in Winston-Salem.
Hayworth-Miller Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
