Mr. Floyd Bruce Coffey, 62, of 124-A Wayside Place, Lenoir, died Tuesday morning, Dec. 14, 2004, at his home.
He was born Nov. 1, 1942, in Watauga County, to Levi Coffey and the late Georgia Gragg Coffey.
Mr. Coffey was a retired veneer finisher from Sterling & Adams Curved Plywood and a member of Blue Ridge Advent Christian Church.
Survivors include his wife, Helen Pearson Coffey; four daughters, Barbara McCloud of Hudson, Gloria Creasy and husband, Steve, and Angela Dellinger, all of Morganton, and Wanda Marley of Lenoir; three sons, Allen Coffey and wife, Misty, of Morganton, Albert Coffey and wife, Patricia, and Wayne Coffey and wife, Danielle, all of Lenoir; his father, Levi Coffey of Blowing Rock; two brothers, Eugene Coffey and wife, Anita, and Larry Coffey and wife, Doris, all of Hudson.
He is also survived by16 grandchildren, one great-grandchild, and a number of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Georgia Pearson Coffey.
Services were conducted Friday afternoon at 2 p.m. at Boone Fork Baptist Church, officiated by the Rev. Darryl Miller and the Rev. Dewey Bristol. Burial followed in the Boone Fork Baptist Church Cemetery.
Hampton Funeral Service was in charge of the arrangements.
