July 18
Thomas Jason Reynolds, 28, of 3535 Old Union Church Road, Salisbury, was arrested on view on a charge of breaking and entering. He was placed in the Watauga County Detention Center and is scheduled to appear in district court on Aug. 28 in lieu of a secured $1,000 bond.

Michael Graham Luttrell, 56, of 595 NW 39th Ave., Deerfield Beach, Fla., was arrested on view on a charge of driving while impaired and driving left of center. He is scheduled to appear in district court on Aug. 28 in lieu of a written promise bond.


Michelle Gilliland Creger, 40, of 663 Thorncliff Drive, Banner Elk, was served with an order for arrest for failure to appear at a scheduled court date. She is scheduled to appear in district court on Aug. 4 in lieu of a written promise bond.


Damage to property was reported at a residence on the 700 block of Roby Greene Road in Boone. The victim reported a person broke the glass out of a door on the home.

Larceny was reported at a residence on the 500 block of Betsy Circle in Todd. The victim reported 17-inch wheels, a video game console, remote-controlled car and an iPod stolen.

Breaking and entering were reported at a residence on the 2300 block of Flat Top Road in Blowing Rock. The victim reported a person entered the home with the use of force.

Larceny was reported at a residence on the 200 block of Gallatin Lane in Boone. A gold Rolex watch was reported stolen.

Breaking and entering and larceny were reported at a residence on the 300 block of Roxanna Street in Boone. The home was entered with the use of force and computer hardware, game controllers and 17 video games were stolen.

Officers were called to the 100 block of Signal Tree Road in Deep Gap in reference to a person removing a vehicle from a private drive.

July 19
Kenneth Thomas Miller Jr., 29, of 323 Arnold Watson Road, Deep Gap, was served with an order for arrest on a court violation. He was placed in the Watauga County Detention Center and is scheduled to appear in district court on July 23 in lieu of a secured $25,000 bond.


Timothy Allen Leach, 35, of 305 Pall Mall St., Columbia, S.C., was arrested on view on a charge of assault on a female. He was placed in the Watauga County Detention Center and is scheduled to appear in district court on Aug. 26.

Larceny was reported on the 200 block of Tweetsie Railroad Lane in Blowing Rock. The victim reported leaving a camera bag containing a digital camera, batteries, charger and camcorder at the amusement park and believes the items were stolen.


Trespassing and larceny were reported in open land areas on the 100 block of Spice Creek Road in Banner Elk. The victim reported 48 drinks, a camp stove, propane lantern, heater, propane bottles, handsaw and a storage bin of miscellaneous items stolen.


A simple physical assault was reported at an unknown address on Laurel Creek Road in Sugar Grove.

July 20
Leon Stacks III, 54, of 169 Clarence Newton Road, Blowing Rock, was served with an order for arrest for failure to appear at a scheduled court date. He was placed in the Watauga County Detention Center and is scheduled to appear in district court on Aug. 19 in lieu of a secured $1,000 bond.


Tony Michael Ray II, 61, of 235 Cara Lane, Boone, was served with an order for an arrest for failure to appear at a scheduled court date. He was placed in the Watauga County Detention Center and is scheduled to appear in district court on Aug. 17 in lieu of a secured $500 bond.


Brian Christopher Smith, 37, of 1392 Laurel Fork Road, Vilas, was served with a warrant for arrest on a domestic violence protective order violation. He was placed in the Watauga County Detention Center and is scheduled to appear in district court on Aug. 12.

Johnny Randall Main, 37, of 302 West King St., Boone, was served with a warrant for arrest on charges of violation of a court order and communicating threats. He was placed in the Watauga County Detention Center and is scheduled to appear in district court on Aug. 12 in lieu of a secured $750 bond.


Harassing phone calls and communicating threats were reported by a resident of Hampton Trailer Court in Boone. The victim reported receiving multiple cell phone calls.

Breaking and entering of a motor vehicle and larceny from a motor vehicle were reported at a public building on the 3300 block of U.S. 321 in Boone. The vehicle was entered without the use of force and a cell phone was reported stolen.


An incident of communicating threats was reported at a residence on the 300 block of Clint Norris Road in Boone.

Officers were called to a residence on the 200 block of Rocky Creek Road in Boone to assist medics. An individual had overdosed on over-the-counter medication.

A simple assault was reported on the roadway of Deer Meadows Lane in Boone. The victim reported walking on the roadway and he/she was nearly struck by a vehicle.

Larceny of auto parts was reported at a residence on the 8700 block of U.S. 421 in Vilas.

July 21
Joseph Brandon Michael, 26, of 15 Pine Grove Ave., Asheville, was served with a warrant for arrest on charges of conspiracy to traffic LSD and three counts of trafficking LSD. He was placed in the Watauga County Detention Center and is scheduled to appear in district court on Aug. 28 in lieu of a secured $60,000 bond.

Patricia Elizebeth Diaz-Verson, 22, of 155 Campus Ridge Road, Apt. 4, Boone, was served with a warrant for arrest on charges of conspiracy to traffic LSD and three counts of trafficking LSD. She was placed in the Watauga County Detention Center and is scheduled to appear in district court on Aug. 28 in lieu of a secured $60,000 bond.
