A simple physical assault was reported at 8:55 a.m. on the 100 block of North Street.
Larceny was reported at 9:23 a.m. at a residence on the 500 block of Meadowview Drive. A bicycle was reported stolen.
Criminal damage to property by vandalism was reported at 9:49 a.m. at a public restroom in J.C. Park on Horn in the West Drive.
Larceny was reported at 10:11 a.m. on the sidewalk between 713 and 671 West King Street. Potted plants were reported stolen.
Criminal damage to property was reported at 12:13 p.m. at Winkler Manor on Hardin Street.
Larceny was reported at 2:17 p.m. on the 500 block of Meadowview Drive. A GPS unit and an iPod were reported stolen.
An incident of communicating threats was reported at 5:20 p.m. on the 300 block of Deerfield Road.
Arrests: Marcus Beucus, 26, of 156 Pinnacle Drive, Boone, was arrested at 2:50 a.m. on a charge of drunk and disruptive behavior.
Joseph Page, 46, of 115 North St., Boone, was arrested at 10:40 a.m. on a charge of assault on a female.

Criminal damage to property by vandalism was reported at 12:51 a.m. on the 100 block of Juniper Drive.
Larceny was reported at 4:53 p.m. on the 300 block of Meadowhill Drive. Prescription medication was reported stolen.
Arrest: Jesscia Cornett, 29, of 184 Rollingwood Drive, Hayes, was arrested at 3:50 a.m. on a charge of transporting alcohol after consuming and driving while license revoked.

Officers responded to an incident involving drug violations and alcohol at 1:30 a.m. on the 500 block of Bamboo Road.

Larceny by shoplifting was reported at 3:07 p.m. on at Lowes Foods in New Market Centre.
An incident of communicating threats was reported at 4:29 p.m. in the Bank of America parking lot on Blowing Rock Road.
Arrests: Daniel Brown, 24, of 213 Sharlowe Drive, Fleetwood, was arrested at 2:06 a.m. on charges of driving without insurance and driving while license revoked.
Joshua Wade, 23, of 6515 Murphy St., Grifton, was arrested at 4:14 a.m. on charges of expired registration and driving while impaired.
Matthew Huskins, 23, of 174 Corbett McNeil Road, Boone, was arrested at 3:07 p.m. on a charge of larceny by shoplifting.
July 3
Larceny by shoplifting was reported at 4:36 p.m. at Wal-Mart on Watauga Village Drive.
Burglary with forced entry was reported at 7:01 p.m. on the 100 block of Oak Grove Road.
Criminal damage to property by vandalism was reported at 10:24 p.m. at Blue Ridge Bedrooms on East King Street.
Larceny was reported at 10:68 p.m. on the 2600 block of N.C. 105. A vehicle registration tag was reported stolen.
Arrests: Thomas Gallagher, 41, of 128 Culps Drive, Boone, was arrested at 2:47 a.m. on charges of failure to burn headlights and driving while impaired.
Coty Pennington, 19, of 1012 Ivy St., Mountain City, Tenn., was arrested at 8:45 a.m. on a charge of larceny by shoplifting.
July 4
An incident of simple physical assault and communicating threats was reported at 1:13 p.m. on the 100 block of Park Street.
A simple physical assault was reported at 6:42 p.m. in the parking lot of New Market Centre.
Arrest: Michael Yarber, 27, of 275 Red Bank Road, Banner Elk, was arrested at 10:15 p.m. on charges of three court violations, simply possession of a schedule IV controlled substance and failure to reduce speed.
July 5
Breaking and entering was reported at 2:37 a.m. on the 300 block of Hill Street.
Fraud via Internet scam was reported at 12:24 p.m. on the 200 block of Jefferson Road.
Arrest: Lindsay Stevens, 23, of 190 Sable Drive, Apt. 4, Boone, was arrested at 1:45 p.m. on a charge of simple assault.
July 6
Officers responded to a report of an intoxicated person at 1:22 a.m. on the 200 block of West King Street.
