Criminal damage to property by vandalism was reported at 8:58 a.m. on the 400 block of Queen Street.
Criminal damage to property by graffiti was reported at 2:26 p.m. at the Red Carpet Inn on Blowing Rock Road.
Arrest: Joshua Sills, 24, of 3906 Junaluska Road, Boone, was arrested at 3:37 a.m. on charges of fleeing to elude arrest, careless and reckless driving, driving left of center and driving while impaired.
June 17
A simple physical assault was reported at 1:03 a.m. on the 100 block of Kimberly Drive.
Officers responded to a report of an intoxicated person at 2:25 a.m. on the 2100 block of Blowing Rock Road.
Arrest: Viselyn Hernandez, 25, of 358 Bluebird Lane, Boone, was arrested at 12:56 a.m. on charges of driving while license revoked and operating a vehicle without insurance.
June 19
An incident of communicating threats was reported at 12:44 a.m. on the 2400 block of N.C. 105.
Larceny was reported at 1:21 p.m. on the 500 block of West King Street.
Officers responded to a report of an intoxicated person at 9:04 p.m. on the 700 block of West King Street.
Burglary with forced entry and criminal damage to property were reported at 6:45 a.m. on Alray Tire of Boone, Blue Ridge Business Brokerage, Boone Realty, Hidden Creek Management, Gwyn R. Parsons CPA and Wakeman Realty on the 100 block of Realty Row.
Arrests: Ryann Abraham Mercado, 22, of 3821 Rockford Road, Booneville, was arrested at 1:19 a.m. on a charge of disorderly conduct.
Graham Haynes, 21, of 182 Farley St., Waynesville, was arrested at 2:39 p.m. on a charge of assault and battery.
June 20
A motor vehicle theft was reported at 10:04 a.m. on the 500 block of Oak Street.
Breaking and entering and criminal damage to property were reported at 7:56 p.m. on the 300 block of Charlotte Ann Lane.
Arrest: Francisco Gutierrez, 28, of 189 Winter Drive, Boone, was arrested at 4:30 p.m. on a charge of driving a vehicle without an operator’s license.
June 21
Criminal damage to property by vandalism was reported in a parking lot on the 100 block of Faculty Street.
June 22
Larceny from a motor vehicle was reported at 7:23 a.m. on the 200 block of Chestnut Drive. A Bosh power pack, various CDs, prescription sunglasses and tobacco products were reported stolen.
Embezzlement was reported at 9:11 a.m. by the Village of Meadowview of Boone on Madison Avenue. Cash was reported stolen.
Motor vehicle theft was reported at 12:35 p.m. on the 600 block of Poplar Grove Road.
Larceny from a motor vehicle was reported at 7:59 p.m. in the parking lot of Watauga Village shopping center.
An incident involving assault on a female and resisting a public officer was reported at 10:03 p.m. on the 100 block of Pinnacle Drive.
Burglary with nonforced entry and larceny were reported at building 3-D of 116 Grand Boulevard.
Arrests: Joe Kenneth Neaves, 48, of 646 Winklers Creek Road, Boone, was arrested at 3:36 p.m on charges of littering and drunk and disruptive behavior.
Jason Charles Prindle, 30, of 106 Pinnacle Drive, Boone, was arrested at 10:20 p.m. on charges of resisting a public officer and assault on a female.
June 23
Arrest: Joseph Dean Bumgarner, 42, of 379 Eastwood Road, Denver, was arrested at 12:11 a.m. on a charge of breaking and entering.
