June 11
Larceny was reported at 8:48 p.m. at a garage on the 300 block of Madison Avenue. Four golf clubs were reported stolen.
Officers responded to a report of an intoxicated person in the roadway at 10:18 p.m. on U.S. 421.
Burglary with forced entry was reported at 6:48 a.m. at Bridgeman DDS, Coombs Tennant and Carpenter P.C., High Country Association of REALTORS, and Sew and Sew Embroidery. All of the businesses are located in the Heritage Court Shopping Center on the 2300 block of N.C. 105. Investigators with the BPD said cash, computers, electronic equipment and other items were reported stolen. The break-ins remain under investigation.
Burglary with forced entry was reported at 8:44 a.m. at the Coldwell Banker Blair and Associates business located on the 2400 block of N.C. 105.
June 12
Simple physical assault was reported at 12:15 p.m. at Café Portifino on River Street.
An incident of communicating threats was reported at 1:15 p.m. on the 1500 block of Blowing Rock Road.
Criminal damage to property by vandalism was reported at 3:34 p.m. on the 200 block of Candy Lane.
Larceny was reported at 4:52 p.m. at Walmart on Watauga Village Drive. A swing set was reported stolen.
Officers responded to an incident involving disorderly conduct, resisting a public officer and simple physical assault in a domestic disturbance at 10:30 p.m. on the 800 block of Meadowview Drive.
Arrests: Kaj Andrew Lundsgarrd, 21, of 11632 Apoloosa Run West, Raleigh, was arrested at 2:15 a.m. on a charge of driving while impaired.
Benjamin Andrews Hastings, 20, of 2314 Flagstick Drive, Matthews, was arrested at 2:30 a.m. on a charge of obstructing and/or delaying an officer.
Eddie L. Shearer, 47, of 5548 Metro West Blvd, Apt. 308, Orlando, Fla., was arrested at 10:11 p.m. on a charge of simple possession of a schedule VI controlled substance.
William Harold Pitney, 28, of 274 Westbrook Ave., Noblesville, Ind., was arrested at 10:11 p.m. on charges of resisting a public officer and possession of marijuana up to one half ounce.
Shannon Rene Tutay, 23, of 800 Meadowview Drive, Apt. 14, Boone, was arrested at 10:40 p.m. on charges of disorderly conduct, resist, delay and/or obstruct a public officer, and simple physical assault.
June 13
Officers responded to an incident involving drug violations at 12:40 a.m. on the 100 block of Water Street.
Burglary with forced entry and larceny were reported at 2:14 a.m. on the 100 block of North Street. Two Ruger handguns and a 10 mm handgun were reported stolen.
Larceny from a motor vehicle was reported at 5:20 a.m. on the 300 block of Madison Avenue. A registration card and an iPod were reported stolen.
Burglary with non-forced entry and larceny were reported at 2:02 p.m. on the 800 block of State Farm Road.
A laptop computer was reported stolen.
Criminal damage to property was reported at 3:27 p.m. on the 200 block of Meadowview Drive.
Larceny by shoplifting was reported at 3:42 p.m. at Branch Outdoors on the 1500 block of U.S. 421. A Charter Arms .357 revolver was reported stolen.
Larceny from a motor vehicle was reported at 8:05 p.m. on the 100 block of Delorean Place. A GPS unit was reported stolen.
June 14
Disorderly conduct at a religious service was reported at 11:03 a.m. at the First Baptist Church on West King Street.
Larceny from motor vehicle was reported at 1:41 p.m. at a parking lot on the 2500 block of N.C. 105. A purse, wallet, cash, social security card, $30 Belk gift card and prescription medication were reported stolen.
Larceny from a storage unit was reported at 2:28 p.m. on the 600 block of Greenway Road.
Arrests: Ryan Eugene Twiford, 21, of 108 Bradbourne Circle, Clayton, was arrested at 6:30 a.m. on a charge of driving while impaired.
William James Powell, 20, of 142 North Hampton Road, Boone, was arrested at 6:30 a.m. on charges of resisting, obstructing and/or delaying a public officer, possession of alcohol by an underage person, possession of a fictitious driver’s license, and driving while impaired.
James David Baker, 47, address listed as homeless, was arrested at 11:03 a.m. on a charge of disorderly conduct.
Bradley A. McGee, 28, of 743 Little Laurel Road Extension, Boone, was arrested at 3:03 p.m. on a charge of shoplifting.
