A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday at 3 p.m. at the United Methodist Church to remember the life of Will Dicus.

Hoops camps to open in June
Watauga's boys' basketball team will be having summer camp from June 10-12. The camp will be open for any rising third- through ninth-grader.

Mountaineers hopeful duo reaches finals
GREENSBORO - Two of the nine Appalachian State men's and women's track and field athletes who competed at the NCAA East Regionals Friday and Saturday at Irwin Belk Stadium at North Carolina A&T may qualify for the nationals.

Watauga goes 3-1 in tourney
When Pete Hardee agreed to host games in the Charlotte Heat Showcase over the weekend, he did it mostly to see what type of team was left him after 12 seniors graduated from the 2009 edition.
