May 18
Aaron Franklin Bowling, 19, of 7929 Straton Drive, Knoxville, Tenn., was served with an order for arrest for failure to appear at a scheduled court date. He was placed in the Watauga County Detention Center and is scheduled to appear in district court on June 5 in lieu of a secured $500 bond.
May 19
Christopher Phillip Ervin, 30, of 270 Shatley Road, Crumpler, was served with a warrant on a charge of non-support/non-payment of alimony. He was placed in the Watauga County Detention Center and is scheduled to appear in district court on June 2 in lieu of a secured $16,062 bond.
Bradley Wayne McIntyre, 49, of 1244 Piedmont Drive NW, Lenoir, was served with a warrant on a charge of assault with a deadly weapon. He was placed in the Watauga County Detention Center and is scheduled to appear in district court on July 10 in lieu of a secured $750 bond.
Kevin Richard Pierson, 45, of 123 Winter Drive, Lot 36, Boone, was arrested on view on a charge of driving while license revoked. He is scheduled to appear in district court on June 12 in lieu of an unsecured $1,000 bond.
Mauricio Martinez, 35, of 168 Monteagle Drive, Boone, was served with a warrant for arrest on a charge of assault on a child under the age of 12. He was placed in the Watauga County Detention Center and is scheduled to appear in district court on June 12 in lieu of a secured $1,000 bond.
Avery Horatio Long, 49, of 1762 B Morgantown Road, Burlington, was arrested on view on charges of driving while license revoked and a rear lamp violation. He was placed in the Watauga County Detention Center and is scheduled to appear in district court on June 9 in lieu of a $500 secured bond.
Christopher Joseph Collins, 21, of 101 Texanna Way, Holly Springs, was arrested on view on charges of driving while impaired and having an open container in the passenger area of the vehicle. He is scheduled to appear in district court on June 9 in lieu of a written promise bond.
An incident of identity fraud/theft was reported by a resident of Edmisten Road in Blowing Rock. The victim reported a person used his/her identity to obtain telephone service.
Larceny was reported at a residence on the 100 block of Cranberry Trail in Zionville. The victim reported Medicaid card stolen from the mailbox.
An incident involving assault on a child under the age of 12 was reported at a residence on the 100 block of Monteagle Drive in Boone. The victim was hit with a fist and pushed into a window.
May 20
Officers responded to a verbal domestic dispute at a residence on the 5000 block of U.S. 421 in Vilas.
A simple physical assault was reported at a residence on the 100 block of Ward Greene Road in Vilas. The victim reported having been assaulted in the front yard of the home.
Gary Lee Patterson, 24, of 147 Ward Green Road, Apt. B, Boone, was arrested on view on a charge of assault on a female. He was placed in the Watauga County Detention Center and is scheduled to appear in district court on June 9.
Tad Aaron Navey, 33, of 1749 Paris Drive, Conover, was served with an order for arrest as a habitual felon. He was placed in the Watauga County Detention Center and is scheduled to appear in district court on July 23 in lieu of a secured $25,000 bond.
May 21
Ethan Morris, 16, of 140 Goshen Creek Lane, Boone, was arrested on view on a charge of providing fictitious information to an officer. He is scheduled to appear in district court on July 10.
Criminal damage to property was reported at a residence on the 200 block of Westside Drive in Vilas. The victim reported a person had damaged the front door of the home.
May 22
Officers responded to a report of an overdose on the 11900 block of U.S. 421 in Zionville. The victim took Prozac and blood pressure medication.
Breaking and entering and larceny were reported at a residence on the 4400 block of Rich Mountain Road in Boone. The victim reported a person entered the home forcibly through the back door and stole tools and a television/flashlight/radio combination set.
May 23
Sally Ann Wilson, 44, of 159 Roaring Fork Road, Todd, was served with a warrant on a charge of simple assault. She was placed in the Watauga County Detention Center and is scheduled to appear in district court on July 15.
Criminal damage to property was reported along the 2200 block of Flat Top Road in Blowing Rock. A large truck struck mailboxes while traveling down the road.
May 24
An incident of communicating threats, larceny and a call for service was reported at a residence on the 4700 block of Elk Creek Road in Deep Gap. The victim reported having been threatened by a family member.
Criminal damage to property was reported at an area of open land on the 100 block of Big Buck Trail in Todd. The victim reported a person cut a steel cable from the gate.
Breaking and entering was reported at a residence at the end of Big Buck Trail. The victim reported a person kicked in the front door to a hunting cabin.
May 25
Larceny was reported at a residence on the 100 block of Old Fairway Drive in Boone. The victim reported mail stolen.
An incident involving burglary with forced entry, burglary with non-forced entry and larceny was reported at a residence on the 100 block of Burkett Road in Boone. The victim reported a garage was entered and tools, batteries and gasoline was reported stolen.
Burglary with non-forced entry and larceny was reported at a residence on the 100 block of Virgil Day Road in Boone. The victim reported a person entered through a window and stole a grass trimmer and leaf blower.
Tony Michael Ray II, 17, of 235 Cara Lane, Boone, was served with a warrant for arrest on a charge of driving while license revoked and reckless driving to endanger. He is scheduled to appear in district court on July 10.
Jake Carlton Engle, 22, of 197 Red Maple Lane, Boone, was served with a warrant for arrest on a charge of communicating threats. He is scheduled to appear in district court on July 10 in lieu of an unsecured $500 bond.
Timothy Ray Watson, 20, of 229 The Glade Road, Boone, was arrested on view on a charge of domestic violence protective order violation, possession of a schedule VI controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was placed in the Watauga County Detention Center and is scheduled to appear in district court on July 15. A look-a-like, toy gun was also seized at the time of arrest.
Larceny was reported at a residence on the 300 block of Bub Teems Road in Boone. The victim reported a person coming to the home and stealing a safe, filing cabinet, briefcase, garden tiller and a wheelbarrow.
