Boone woman arrested
on fraud charges

Investigators with the Boone Police Department have arrested Haley Nicole Price, 22, of Boone on multiple counts of forgery and uttering (using a forged instrument).
Price is alleged to have passed forged checks at local businesses. Detective Bobby Creed said the amounts and locations of the forgery could not be released at this time.
The investigation is ongoing and additional charges are expected.
Price is scheduled to appear in district court on June 9 on five counts of forgery and five counts of uttering.
Bond was set at $10,000.
