On Saturday, two men were caught in the act marking graffiti along Depot Street. Martin Charles Wentworth, 22, of Boone, and Perry Andrew David, 23, of Boone, were each charged with damage to real property. Both are scheduled to appear in district court June 9 in lieu of a secured $1,500 bond.

Sgt. Matt Stevens said the investigation is continuing and additional charges are likely.

On April 18, officers arrested Jameson Leslie Pulsifer, 20, of Boone, after he allegedly painted graffiti in the restroom of the Hardee’s restaurant near New Market Centre. After further investigation, Pulsifer was charged with seven counts of injury to real and personal property.

The investigation continued, including a search of Pulsifer’s home on Water Street.

On Thursday, officers charged him with an additional ten counts of damage to personal and real property. Pulsifer will appear in district court to face the new charges on June 9 in lieu of a $3,500 written promise bond.
