April 2
Criminal damage to property by vandalism was reported at 4:17 a.m. on the 800 block of West King Street.

Larceny was reported at 8 a.m. on the 300 block of Jefferson Road. A cell phone was reported stolen.

Burglary with forced entry was reported at 10:11 a.m. at Horn in the West. A set of property keys, DSL modem, various CD ROM discs, USB thumb drive, various ink cartridges, a laptop computer, flatbed scanner and two flat screen monitors were reported stolen.

Larceny was reported at 2:18 p.m. on the 400 block of High School Drive. An iPod was reported stolen.

Larceny was reported at 3:45 p.m. on the 400 block of High School drive. An iPad Nano was reported stolen.

Criminal damage to property by vandalism was reported at 5:52 p.m. on the 100 block of Watauga Village Drive.

A lost or stolen cell phone was reported at 7:42 p.m. on the 300 block of Deerfield Road.

A simple physical assault was reported at 8:10 p.m. on the 1900 block of Blowing Rock Road.

April 3
Criminal damage to a motor vehicle was reported at 7:16 a.m. on the 100 block of Cherrybrook Lane.

Larceny was reported at 8:19 a.m. on the 300 block of West King Street.

Criminal damage to property was reported at 10:10 a.m. at the Appal Cart depot on Winklers Creek Road.

Officers responded to a report of a suspicious incident at 4:22 p.m. on the 800 block of Meadowview Drive.

Damage to a vehicle was reported at 5:47 p.m. on the 300 block of Watauga Village Drive.

Arrests: Lucinda Bowers, 46, of 259 Furman Road, Apt. 110, Boone, was arrested at 11:16 a.m. on a charge of larceny by shoplifting.

Candice Tiffany Corbin, 19, of 317 The Meadows Road, Boone, was arrested at 3:58 p.m. on a charge of larceny by shoplifting.

April 4
A simple physical assault was reported at 12:10 a.m. on the 300 block of Howard Street.

Larceny was reported at 10:08 a.m. on the 1100 block of N.C. 105.

Criminal damage to property by vandalism was reported at 10:12 a.m. on the 600 block of West King Street.

Breaking and entering was reported at 1:26 p.m. on the 200 block of Faculty Street.

An incident of communicating threats was reported at 5:17 p.m. on the 200 block of East King Street.

An incident of counterfieting was reported at 5:23 a.m. on the 100 block of Boone Heights Drive.

Donald Walter Stiffler, 61, of 515 Geriod St., East Spencer, was arrested at 2:01 a.m. on a charge of driving while impaired.

Amy Lynn Michael, 37, of 659 Greenhorn Road, Roaring Gap, was arrested at 12 p.m. on charges of resisting a public officer and possession of drug paraphernalia.

April 5
Larceny from a motor vehicle was reported at 10:59 a.m. on the 400 block of Poplar Hill Drive.

Officers responded to a suicide at 2:13 p.m. on the 400 block of West King Street.

Stanley Lynn Dancy, 31, of 1615 Tater Hill Road, Zionville, was arrested at 1 a.m. on charges of carrying a concealed handgun, driving while impaired and possession of one half ounce of marijuana.

Fernando Medina-Jasso, 30, of 352 Old East King St., Apt. 11, Boone, was arrested at 10:40 a.m. on charges of driving while license revoked and failure to appear at a scheduled court date.

April 7
Larceny from a coin-operated device was reported at 10:36 a.m. on the 1300 block of N.C. 105. An estimated $14 in change was stolen.

A vehicle was reported stolen at 12:25 p.m. on the 200 block of Brown Street. A Land Rover was reported stolen.

Fraud and larceny from a motor vehicle were reported at 1:32 p.m. on the 100 block of Meadow Hill Drive. A wallet and two Visa cards were reported stolen.

Arrests: Joshua Phillip Brandt, 32, of 124 Monteagle Drive, Boone, was arrested at 11:30 a.m. on a charge of criminal damage to property by vandalism.

Jacob Carl Johnson, 22, of 125 Cypress Point, Smithfield, was arrested at 1:05 a.m. on charges of driving while license revoked and driving while impaired.

Jessica O. Elliott, 23, of 2804 Holly Glenn Drive, Apt. 8, Greenville, was arrested at 3:27 p.m. on charges of expired registration and driving while license revoked.

Brenda Gae Harper, 46, of 240 Meadow Hill Drive, Apt. 403, Boone, was arrested at 8:06 p.m. on a charge of obtaining property by false pretense.

April 8
A simply non-physical assault with sexual motive was reported at 4:50 a.m. on the 2000 block of Blowing Rock Road.
