District Court Judge Ted McEntire presiding and Charlene Norris, Charles Byrd and John Alexander prosecuting on behalf of the state.

Douglas Lee Bailey, 20, of 1645 Fawn Lane, Greedmoor, pleaded guilty to possession of alcohol by an underage person. A prayer for judgment continued was granted. A charge of driving after consuming alcohol while underage was dismissed. Bailey was assessed court costs.

Charges of possession of marijuana up to one half ounce and possession of drug paraphernalia were dismissed against Zachery Steven Cox, 16, of 4878 Elk Creek Road, Deep Gap.

Charges of possession of marijuana up to one half ounce and possession of drug paraphernalia were dismissed against Zack Cox, 16, of 717 Blowing Rock Road, Boone.

An order for arrest was issued for Joshua Clark Dannals, 25, of 451 Yosef Drive, Apt. Y, Boone, for failure to appear on an alcohol violation. A secured $1,000 bond was set.

An order for arrest was issued for Daniel De La Puerta, 16, of 192 David McClean Road, Boone, for failure to appear on charges of no operators license, failure to stop at a steady red light and possession of alcohol by an underage person. A secure $1,000 bond was set.

Michael Patrick Hall, 46, of 851 Doe Branch Road, Zionville, pleaded guilty to driving while license revoked and was found guilty of driving while impaired. He was sentenced to a total of one year and 45 days in jail, suspended, 14 days active to be served with 60 days, 24 months supervised probation and assessed court costs and $700 in fines.

Tyler Weston Hayes, 20, of 1217 Barksdale Road, Lewisville, pleaded guilty to failure to stop at stop sign. A charge of driving after consuming alcohol was dismissed.

Sentencing was not specified on the court docket.

An order for arrest was issued for Willis Paul Hicks, 66, of 142 Brown Farm Road, Boone, for failure to appear on two alcohol violations and a charge of shoplifting. A secure $1,000 bond was set.

Charges of expired registration, possession of drug paraphernalia, expired inspection and a brake light equipment violation were dismissed against Jerrell Lamar Jackson, 23, of 246 Faculty Street, Apt. 6, Boone, due to compliance with conditions previously set by the court.

Spencer Andre Johnson, 23, of 433 Deerhaven Lane, Hendersonville, pleaded guilty to hit and run failure to stop with property damage. A prayer for judgment continued was granted. A charge of expired inspection sticker was dismissed.

Charges of possession of stolen goods and/or property, misdemeanor larceny and obtaining or attempting to obtain alcohol with another’s driver’s license were dismissed against Rebecca D. Kirkpatrick, 20, of 402 Steeple Chase Road, Pleasant Garden, due to compliance with conditions previously set by the court.

An order for arrest was issued for Christopher Lilly, 18, of 174 Cornerstone Lane, Deep Gap, for failure to appear on a charge of disorderly conduct. A secured $500 bond was set.

An order for arrest was issued for Audrey M. Morrow, 25, of 120-D Candle St., West Jefferson, for failure to appear on charges of two counts of misdemeanor larceny. A $1,000 secured bond was set.

Jacqueline Rose Walker, 21, of 301 Highland Ave., Boone, pleaded guilty to driving while impaired. She was sentenced to 60 days in jail, suspended, 12 months unsupervised probation, 24 hours of community service to be completed within 30 days, and assessed a $100 fine and court costs. A charge of driving left of center was dismissed.

A charge of possession of drug paraphernalia was dismissed against Kyle Edward Watson, 19, of 798 Ashview Court, Marietta, Ga., due to compliance with conditions previously set by the court.

Gregory Scott Porter, 17, of 261 Mallard Lane, Apt. 8, Boone, pleaded guilty to driving while license revoked. A prayer for judgment continued was granted.
