The Carolina Barnstorming Tour will be rolling through Boone Thursday night when members of North Carolina and Duke’s basketball teams will take on the High Country All-Stars, beginning at 7:30 p.m.

The biggest name on the Carolina Barnstorming Tour team is All-American center Tyler Hansbrough, fresh off a national championship run that ended with a win over Michigan State in Detroit Monday night. Other big-name Tar Heels who are on the roster include Danny Green and backup point guard Bobby Frasor.

Also on the roster are Duke seniors Greg Paulus and David McClure, and former Wake Forest standout Antwan Scott, who now plays for the Harlem Globetrotters. UNC players Jack Wooten, Mike Copeland, J.B. Tanner and Patrick Moody round out the North Carolina roster.

They will take on a group of High Country All-Stars that includes former Appalachian State standout forward Jeremy Clayton and senior Eduardo Bermudez.

Clayton and Bermudez will be joined by UNC-Asheville’s Reid August and Jason Ridenhour, and a host of Division II players, including Lees-McRae alum Ochigbo Ameh, Mars Hill’s P.J. Gore and Akeene Coakley, Joe Chilton of Brevard, Warren Wilson’s Jermon Marsh, Limestone College’s Shawn Creal and Montreat’s M.J. Njoku.

Before the game, there will be an autograph session from 6:30 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. The doors open at 6 p.m. Advanced tickets are $10, and tickets at the door are $12.50. VIP tickets are sold out.
