March 9
Fraud was reported by a resident of Mabel School Road in Zionville. The victim reported an unauthorized electronic withdrawal from a checking account.
March 10
Jose Eduardo Carcamo, 36, of 43 Clarendon Road, Apt. 6, Beaufort, S.C., was served with an order for arrest for failure to appear at a scheduled court date. He is scheduled to appear in district court on April 1 in lieu of a secured $1,500 bond.
Charles Fletcher Robinson, 36, of 387 Sugarloaf Road, Apt. B, Boone, was arrested on view on a charge of driving without an operator’s license. He was placed in the Watauga County Detention Center and is scheduled to appear in district court on April 17 in lieu of a secured $500 bond. Robinson was also served with a warrant on a charge of assault on a female.
An incident of communicating threats was reported at a residence on the 800 block of George Wilson Road in Boone. The victim reported receiving harassing phone calls.
Burglary with forced entry and communicating threats were reported at a residence on the 8200 block of U.S. 321 in Sugar Grove. The victim reported a person kicked open the front door of the home.
Larceny was reported at a residence on the 100 block of Summit Woods Drive in Boone. The victim reported packages delivered by UPS were stolen. The packages contained a video game console, games and a laptop computer.
Breaking and entering of a motor vehicle and criminal damage to property were reported at a residence on the 8200 block of U.S. in Sugar Grove. The victim reported a person broke a window out of the vehicle and damaged all four tires and clothing. A digital television antenna and a universal remote control were reported stolen.
Assault on a female was reported on the 300 block of Sugarloaf Road in Boone. The victim reported a person grabbed his/her arms and struck their head.
March 11
Nancy Ellen Hicks, 20, of 7222 Old U.S. 421 South, Deep Gap, was served with a warrant for arrest on a charge of simple physical assault. She was placed in the Watauga County Detention Center and is scheduled to appear in district court on April 15.
Charles Fletcher Robinson, 36, of 387 Sugarloaf Road, Apt. B, Boone, was served with a warrant on charges of manufacturing a schedule I controlled substance, manufacturing a schedule VI controlled substance, possession with intent to sell and/or deliver marijuana, maintaining a vehicle or dwelling for purposes related to a controlled substance, possession with intent to sell/deliver/manufacture a schedule I controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was placed in the Watauga County Detention Center and is scheduled to appear in district court on April 17 in lieu of a secured $20,000 bond.
Farris Dean Miller, 62, of 150 Delmar Street, Boone, was served with a warrant for arrest on a charge of simple physical assault. He is scheduled to appear in district court on April 17 in lieu of an unsecured $500 bond.
Steven Troy Hicks, 17, of 176 Monteagle Drive, Boone, was served with a warrant for arrest on a charge of simple assault. He is scheduled to appear in district court on April 17 in lieu of a written promise bond.
Bruce Richard Samuelsen, 60, of 254 V.L. Moretz Road, Deep Gap, was served with an order for arrest for failure to appear in court on a charge of failure to extinguish a fire. He is scheduled to appear in district court on April 17 in lieu of an unsecured $500 bond.
Jonathan Keith Brown, 28, of 385 Russell Beach Road, Boone, was served with a warrant for arrest on a charge of communicating threats. He is scheduled to appear in district court on April 17 in lieu of an unsecured $500 bond.
A simple physical assault was reported at a residence on the 7200 block of Old U.S. 421 in Deep Gap. The victim reported a person threw a flower vase at him/her.
A sexual offense was reported by a resident of Hodges and Miller Road in Blowing Rock. The report says that a person had sexual intercourse with a minor.
Burglary with non-forced entry was reported at a residence on the 400 block of Winebarger Road in Deep Gap. The victim reported a person attempted to break into the home.
March 12
Kimberly Ann Durkee, 32, of 130 Birch Street, Apt. 24, Boone, was served with an order for arrest for failure to appear in court on a charge of failure to pay support. She is scheduled to appear in district court on March 20 in lieu of a $891.16 cash bond.
Larceny was reported by a resident of Jake Miller Road in Boone. The victim reported his/her cell phone was lost or stolen.
Larceny from a motor vehicle was reported at a residence on the 100 block of Martin Lane in Boone. The victim reported four amplifiers were stolen from a vehicle.
An incident of communicating threats was reported at a residence on the 600 block of Tanner Road in Boone. The victim reported a person told him/her they were going to shoot his/her friend.
Larceny was reported at a residence on the 1100 block of Big Hill Road in Boone. The victim reported a person stole jewelry and cash from the home.
A simple physical assault was reported on Junaluska Road near Ridgeview Road in Boone. The report states a person was punching and kicking the victim.
March 13
Monica Luster May, 35, of 178 John Henry Drive, Todd, was served with a warrant for extradition as a fugitive. She was placed in the Watauga County Detention Center and is scheduled to appear in district court on April 17 in lieu of a secured $20,000 bond.
An incident of breaking and entering was reported at a residence on the 4600 block of U.S. 321 North in Sugar Grove. The victim reported a person pried open the rear door of the home.
A simple physical assault was reported at a residence on the 9600 block of N.C. 421 in Zionville. The report says the three people involved assaulted each other with hands feet.
Damage to property was reported at a residence on the 200 block of Mustard Field in Boone. The victim reported the windshield of a vehicle was cracked.
Breaking and entering, larceny and criminal damage to property were reported at a residence on the 4100 block of N.C. 105 in Boone. The victim reported a person entered the home with force and damaged a dresser, television stand, mattress set, kitchen cabinet doors, a window, a television, a stereo and put four holes in the walls. A laptop computer and a television were reported stolen.
An incident of breaking and entering was reported at a residence on the 300 block of River Road in Banner Elk. The victim reported person cut a lock to gain access to the basement area of the home.
March 14
Willis Paul Hicks, 65, address listed as streets of Boone, was served with an order for arrest for a court violation and a charge of larceny from Caldwell County. His court appearance information for Caldwell was not available as of press time.
Marshall Williston Thomas, 51, of 1489 Browns Chapel Road, Apt. 4, Boone, was served with a warrant on a charge of harassing phone calls. He is scheduled to appear in district court on April 14 in lieu of a written promise bond.
