Senior Night success
Senior Night in most prep sports is similar to a homecoming game in football. Everybody wants to win so they can send their seniors out with a memory of a victory.

Winning games on Senior Night can be hit or miss. Often times, it’s held on the last home date of the season, so it all depends on who the opponent is.

CHAPEL HILL - Just seven outs away from its first win over a nationally ranked opponent in 27 years, Appalachian State saw No. 2 North Carolina score five runs in the final two innings and fell, 9-8, on Tuesday afternoon at Boshamer Stadium.
