Kosmala reaches state final
CHARLOTTE — Watauga’s boys swim team was 12th overall in the Western Regional Swim Meet held last weekend with a total of 45 points. Konrad Kosmala advanced to the state meet in the 100 freestyle by finishing 10th in the finals with a time of 50.74 seconds. Watauga’s 400 freestyle relay team of Alden Mast, William Tsang, Pamornchart Manomayangoon and Kosmala also reached the state meet by taking ninth in the regional final. They turned in a time of 3:38.31.

ICARD - Watauga’s girls’ basketball team seems to be developing a bad habit of falling behind in the first half, making a nice rally in the second half, but still ending up on the short end of the final score.
