Sports update: The Citadel edges past App State
Appalachian State had its inside offense going well against The Citadel. As for the outside shooting, well, that was a different story.

Appalachian State’s lineup has undergone some major changes recently. One, the suspension of former starters Ryann Abraham and Eduardo Bermudez, was a coach’s decision. Another that put Tyler Webb in for forward Josh Hunter was actually Hunter’s idea.

Commentary: Puppy Bowl can’t match Super finish

Now that was an instant classic. The Pittsburgh Steelers’ 27-23 victory over the Arizona Cardinals in Super Bowl XLIII will go down as one of the better Super Bowls in recent memory. Those who saw the game saw plenty.

When McDowell beat Watauga in the first meeting between the teams, McDowell rolled to a big first-quarter en route to an easy win over the Pioneers.
