ASU quarterbacks coach headed to Toledo
Appalachian State quarterbacks coach Scott Satterfield has agreed to become the co-offensive coordinator at Toledo, a source in the Appalachian State athletic department confirmed.

Pioneers grind out win
Watauga boys’ basketball coach Rob Sanders hoped that West Caldwell would give the Pioneers a look at what they could expect from the Northwestern 4-A Conference.

ASU to play Texas
When Appalachian State went to Louisville, Ky. to play Kentucky, the Mountaineers at least faced the Wildcats on as close to a neutral site they could get in the Blue Grass State.

Watauga girls roll past West Caldwell

Once Watauga took an early lead on West Caldwell, the Pioneers never let up in their 62-41 victory over the Warriors Tuesday night at Lentz-Eggers Gym.

Hoyas trip up App State women

WASHINGTON - Appalachian State’s women’s basketball team outscored Georgetown 27-25 in the second half, but was unable to overcome an early deficit and fell 63-46 to the Hoyas Sunday.

Mountaineers return to action vs. Milligan
It’s been a while since Appalachian State has played basketball - nine days to be exact.
