It took a while for Watauga’s volleyball team to find its rhythm against South Caldwell Tuesday. When the Pioneers got their offense cranked up, there was little South could do to stop them.

Making small mistakes against Shelby is not a good idea. Making big ones is even worse. Watauga did both and paid the price in a 27-6 loss to the Lions, the 2-AA state runners up in 2007.
