HARRISONBURG, Va. — This was one that James Madison wanted really bad. More than Homer Simpson wants doughnuts. More than Ralphie wanted a Red Ryder BB gun. More than Hillary Clinton wants to be president.

MORGANTON — The Watauga boys’ soccer team held on in the closing minutes of its match against the Freedom Patriots Thursday night to take a 1-0 win at the Catawba River Soccer Complex.
