Criminal damage to property by vandalism was reported at 11:33 a.m. on the 1500 block of West King Street.
A court violation was reported at 12:46 p.m. on the 100 block of Faculty Street.

Fraud by worthless checks was reported at 1:12 p.m. on the 2500 block of N.C. 105.

Missing property was reported at 4:16 p.m. on the 200 block of New Market Centre.

Larceny was reported at 5:17 p.m. on the 1200 block of Blowing Rock Road. Consumable food was reported stolen.

Arrests:
Dustin Soileau, 22, of 523 Blowing Rock Road Apt. 21, Boone, was arrested at 2:17 for a court violation.
Angela McNair, 22, of 165 Summit Woods Drive Apt. C9, Boone, was arrested at 5:17 p.m. on a charge of larceny by an employee.

August 15
Trespassing was reported at 8 a.m. on the 1400 block of N.C. 105.

A motor vehicle theft was reported at 2:05 p.m. on the 200 block of Meadow Hill Drive.

Officers responded to a report of an intoxicated person at 2:56 p.m. on the 200 block of New Market Boulevard.

August 16
An underage person consuming alcohol was reported at 12:49 a.m. on the 100 block of Boone Docks Street.

Damage to property and tampering with a motor vehicle were reported at 5:50 a.m. on the 200 block of Meadview Drive.

Arrests:
Casey Ward, 20, of 163 Red Maple Lane, Boone, was arrested at 3:45 a.m. on a charge of trespassing.

Jeremy Scism, 19, of 16200 Blackberry Hills Drive, Midland, was arrested at 3:54 a.m. on charges of resisting arrest, trespassing and possession or concealment of liquor while underage. He was served with warrants at 8 p.m. on additional charges of injury to personal property and tampering with a motor vehicle.

Derek Scism, 17, of 16200 Blackberry Hills Drive, Midland, was arrested at 3:54 a.m. on a charge of trespassing. He was served with warrants at 8 p.m. on additional charges of injury to personal property and tampering with a motor vehicle.

August 17
Breaking and entering and injury to real property were reported at 2:45 a.m. on the 200 block of Yosef Drive.
Harassing phone calls were reported at 4:55 p.m. on the 600 block of Madison Avenue.

Arrests:
Dennis Roberts, 21, of 148 Faculty St. Apt. J11, Boone, was arrested at 12:22 a.m. on charges of driving while impaired, driving while license revoked and failure to burn headlights.

Cody Edwards, 22, of 2153 White Pine Drive, Granite Falls, was arrested at 2:45 a.m. on charges of injury to real property and breaking and entering.

James Shore, 31, of 150 Winter Drive, Boone, was arrested at 4:48 p.m. on a charge of trespassing.
