Jamie Michelle Floyd, 31, of 227 Elk Hill Drive, Banner Elk, was found guilty of driving while impaired. She was sentenced to 30 days in jail, suspended, 12 months unsupervised probation, 24 hours of community service to be completed within 45 days and assessed a $100 fine and court costs.
Gerik Leron Gooch, 30, of 2695 Hester Road, Oxford, pleaded guilty to driving while license revoked and speeding. He was sentenced to 75 days in jail, suspended, 12 months unsupervised probation, and assessed $225 in court-appointed attorney fees, court costs and a $100 fine. Additional counts of speeding and driving while license revoked were dismissed.
An order for arrest was issued for Leslie Marie Pearce, 19, of 168 Dovick Drive, Banner Elk, for failure to appear on a charge of driving while license revoked.
Kristin Cheyenne Riggs, 21, of 298 Honeysuckle Trail, Vilas, pleaded guilty to operating a vehicle without insurance. She was assessed a $25 fine and court costs.
A charge of disorderly conduct was dismissed against Addison B. Shonts, 22, of 149 Darby Court Apt. A, Boone, due to compliance with conditions previously set by the court.

Charges of resisting public officer, possession of stolen goods or property, and possession of pyrotechnics were dismissed against Kirkland A. Ahrens, 22, of 795 Hendersonville Road, Asheville, due to compliance with conditions previously set by the court.
Adam Thomas Bolt, 23, of 805 South Chapman St., Greensboro, pleaded guilty to a violation of limited driving privileges. A prayer for judgment continued was granted. Charges of speeding and expired inspection sticker were dismissed.
Bobby Lee Chapman, 50, of 302 W. King St., Boone, pleaded guilty to misdemeanor larceny. He was sentenced to 60 days in jail, suspended, 12 months unsupervised probation and assessed court costs.
Charges of possession or sale of alcohol without a permit and selling/giving alcohol to an underage person were dismissed against Adrian John Dekeyzer, 24, of 856 Eagle Drive, Boone, due to compliance with conditions previously set by the court.
A charge of intoxicating and disruptive behavior was dismissed against Douglas Edward Dickerson III, 29, of 1495 Cobbs Creek Road, Boone.
Jeremy Heath Greene, 27, of 139 Coinjock Canal Road, Coinjock, pleaded guilty to driving while license revoked. He was sentenced to 45 days in jail, suspended, 12 months supervised probation and assessed $75 in court-appointed attorney fees, a $100 fine and court costs. A charge of speeding was dismissed.
An order for arrest was issued for Iris Mirta Lugo, 34, of 2205 First Ave. NW, Hickory, for failure to appear on charges of speeding, operating a vehicle without insurance and no operators license.
Stanley Arnold Miller, 59, of 317 Don Hayes Road, Boone, was charged with driving while license revoked. He pleaded guilty to failure to notify DMV of an address change. Miller also pleaded guilty to a registration plate improperly attached, failure to apply for a new title and a registration violation. Miller was sentenced to a total of 90 days in jail, suspended, 36 months supervised probation and assessed $150 in court-appointed attorney fees, two court costs and up to $400 in restitution. Charges of operating a vehicle without insurance, expired inspection sticker, a registration violation and exceeding safe speed were dismissed.
An order for arrest was issued for Benjamin James Rogers, 23, of 307 Southwest Road, Jacksonville, for failure to appear on a charge of driving while license revoked. A $1,000 secured bond was set.
Avery Allen Simmons, 28, of 305 Governor Stokes Road, Wilkesboro, pleaded guilty to driving while license revoked. He was sentenced to 120 days in jail, suspended, 18 months supervised probation and assessed court costs and a $250 fine. A charge of unsafe movement was dismissed.
A charge of simple affray was dismissed against Philip A. Smart, 48, of 130 Dun Barter Road, Banner Elk.
An order for arrest was issued for Adrian A. Villarreal, 24, of 310 Leland Road, Wilson, for failure to appear on a charge of driving while license revoked. A secured $2,500 bond was set.
Martin B. Whalen, 27, of 4444 Swift Road Apt. 9, Sarasota, Fla., pleaded guilty to driving while impaired. He was sentenced to 180 days in jail, suspended, with three days active, 12 months supervised probation and assessed a $250 fine, $562.50 in court-appointed attorney fees and court costs.
Charges of a registration violation and permitting the operation of a vehicle without insurance were dismissed against David Banks Wright, 48, of 1186 Lambert Road, Hiddenite.
An order for arrest was issued for Steven B. Yarborough, 31, of 309 Gemini Circle, Birmingham, Ala., for failure to appear on charges of driving while impaired and driving while license revoked. A $2,500 secured bond was set.
Ethan Miles High, 18, of 21 Brandy Lane, Hickory, pleaded guilty to misdemeanor larceny. He was sentenced to 45 days in jail with credit for 43 days served.
