Timmy Moral Carter Jr., 25, of 364-B Faculty St., Boone, pleaded guilty to possession of drug paraphernalia. He was sentenced to 45 days in jail, suspended, 12 months supervised probation and assessed a $100 fine and court costs.
An extradition as a fugitive from another state was dismissed against Randy Jack Davis, 36, of 943 Sprucey Lane, Mountain City, Tenn.
Clyde Van Fore Jr.,41, of 280 Graggville Road, Boone, pleaded guilty to driving while impaired. He was sentenced to 45 days in jail, suspended, 12 months unsupervised probation, 24 hours of community service to be completed within 60 days and assessed a $100 fine and court costs. Charges of driving left of center, speeding excess of 35 mph and possession of an open alcohol container in the passenger area of a vehicle were dismissed.
A charge of failure to give information about an injured person was dismissed against Ian Wesley Hayes, 25, of 521 Meadowview Drive Apt. D103, Boone.
Charges of possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana were dismissed against Matthew Hollingsworth, 22, of 454 West King St., Boone, due to compliance with conditions previously set by the court.
An order for arrest was issued for Alejandro R. Jimenez, 23, of Blue Bird Lane, Boone for failure to appear on a charge of driving while impaired, speeding and no operator’s license. A $5,000 secured bond was set.
Robert Kennedy, 19, of 733 Forest Hill Drive, Boone, pleaded guilty to possession of an alcoholic beverage while underage. He was sentenced to 15 days in jail, suspended, 18 months unsupervised probation and assessed court costs.
An extradition as a fugitive from another state was dismissed against Michael Wade Norris, 31, of 2251 Longhope Road, Todd.
Myles Kenneth Stump, 44, of 2588 Blowing Rock Road Room 1, Boone, pleaded guilty to possession of drug paraphernalia, no operator’s license and operating a vehicle without insurance. He was sentenced to a total of 90 days in jail, suspended, 24 months supervised probation, and assessed $150 in fines, $225 in court appointed attorney fees and court costs. Charges of covering or disguising a registration plate, a registration violation and possession of an alcoholic beverage in the passenger area of the vehicle were dismissed.
An order for arrest was issued for Dirk Allen Webb, 38, of 471 West King St., Boone, for failure to appear on a charge of assault inflicting serious injury. A $5,000 secured bond was set.
June 10
Five charges of failure to file and/or pay sales tax were dismissed against Paul Lee Braswell, 45, of 2518 Beaver Dam Road, Vilas.
A charge of computer trespassing was dismissed against Daniel Jesus Garcia, 27, of 133-B Pheasant Ridge, Boone, due to successful mediation.
A charge of assault and battery was dismissed against Joshua Greer, 23, of 1615 Sutherland Road, Creston, due to successful mediation.
Tara Melanie Hall, 28, of 2247 Clarks Creek Road, Banner Elk, pleaded guilty to three counts of common law forgery, a lesser charge than the original obtaining property by false pretenses. She was sentenced to 45 days in jail, suspended, 18 months supervised probation and assessed a $100 fine, two court costs, and $337.50 court-appointed fees.
Matthew Whitney Haney, 23, of 318 Hill St. Apt. 8, Boone, pleaded guilty to filing a false police report. He was sentenced to 30 days in jail, suspended, 24 months supervised probation and 100 hours of community service to be completed within 180 days, and assessed a $500 fine and court costs.
A charge of assault and battery was dismissed against Jason Pitts, age unlisted, of 156 Autumn Ridge Road, Boone, due to successful mediation.
An order for arrest was issued for Thomas Burns Shelley, 24, of 110 Seven Oaks Road, Boone, for failure to appear on charges of assault and battery, injury to personal property and misdemeanor larceny. A secured $5,000 bond was set.
Jennifer Nicole Skultety, 21, of 383 Farthing St., Boone, was found not guilty of two counts of communicating threats, two counts of simple assault and one count of injury to personal property.
An order for arrest was issued for Mike Lee Whitehair, 28, of 141 Scotts Drive, Boone, for failure to appear on charges of communicating threats and assault on a female.
June 11
An order for arrest was issued for Jose R. Barron, 34, of 1805 Glenn Oaks Drive, Greensboro, for failure to appear on charges of driving while license revoked and driving without insurance. A $2,000 secured bond was set.
William Scott Fender, 34, of 2653 Little Creek Road, Burnsville, pleaded guilty to failure to report an accident. A prayer for judgment continued was granted. A charge of driving left of center was dismissed.
William C. Lennon, 16, of 2587 Georges Gap Road, Sugar Grove, pleaded guilty to driving without an operators license, a motorcycle violation and a registration violation. He was sentenced to 30 days in jail, suspended, 12 months supervised probation and assessed court costs and $112.50 in court-appointed attorney fees. Lennon was ordered to complete a general education program within six months. Charges of operating a vehicle without insurance, reckless driving to endanger and driving left of center were dismissed.
Gregory Lynn Long,45, of 178 Precious Court, Swansea, S.C., pleaded guilty to driving while license revoked. A prayer for judgment continued was granted. He was assessed $112.50 in court-appointed attorney fees. Charges of operating a vehicle without insurance and a registration violation were dismissed.
Michael Anthony Martin, 21, of 278 Thornhill Road, Columbia, S.C., pleaded guilty to driving while license revoked. A prayer for judgment continued was granted. He was assessed $112.50 in court-appointed attorney fees. A charge of speeding was dismissed.
Randall Scott Reece, 41, of 530 Brown Hollow Road, Creston, pleaded guilty to driving while license revoked and expired registration. He was sentenced 45 days in jail, suspended and 12 months unsupervised probation. Charges of expired inspection sticker, operating a vehicle without insurance, a registration violation and a license plate violation were dismissed.
Patrick Andrew Smith, 40, of 147 Ward Green Road, Vilas, pleaded guilty to reckless driving to endanger and driving while license revoked. He was sentenced to a total of 180 days in jail, 48 months supervised probation, and assessed $450 in fines and court costs.

David Brandon Summers, 21, of 1207 Sectan Place, Fuquay Varina, pleaded guilty to driving while license revoked. A prayer for judgment continued was granted. Charges of operating a vehicle without insurance, expired inspection sticker, failure to wear a seat belt and a registration violation were dismissed.
Timothy Swinney-Taylor, 19, of 240 Camelot Drive, Banner Elk, pleaded guilty to a rear vehicle light violation, possession of drug paraphernalia, and failure to wear a seatbelt. Sentencing was consolidated into 18 months supervised probation and assessed court costs and $525 in court-appointed attorney fees. Prayer for judgment continued was granted on two counts of driving while license revoked, possession of alcohol by an underage person and driving after consuming while underage.
Javier Rivera Tadeo, 27, of N.C. 194 South, Sugar Grove, pleaded guilty to expired inspection sticker, operating a vehicle without insurance, a registration violation and covering a registration sticker. Sentencing totaled 60 days, suspended, 24 months unsupervised probation and assessed $100 in fines and two court costs.
Marlin Wayne Thomas, 58, of 1114 Bulldog Road, Trade, Tenn., pleaded guilty to driving while impaired.
He was sentenced to 75 days in jail, suspended, 48 hours active, and 12 months unsupervised probation. Thomas was assessed court costs and a $200 fine.
Dale Patrick Yeoman, 18, of 130 Birch St. Apt. B, Boone, pleaded guilty to driving while license revoked. A prayer for judgment continued was granted and he was assessed $150 court-appointed attorney fees. A charge of failure to wear a seat belt was dismissed.
