June 19
Larceny by shoplifting was reported at 4:06 p.m. at a business on the 600 block of King Street. Sunglasses and clothing were reported stolen.

Burglary with forced entry was reported at 10:22 p.m. at an apartment on Leola Street. A video game console and games were reported stolen.

Arrests:
Ryan Johnson, 19, of 2500 McCorkle Road, Lincolnton, was charged with driving while impaired, possession of marijuana and a provisional license violation at 2:55 a.m.

Nathan Giles, 26, of 417 Lynn Hill Road, Boone, was charged with driving without insurance, a revoked registration plate, an open alcohol container, drug violations and driving while impaired at 7 a.m.

June 20
Damage to a vehicle window was reported at 12:42 p.m. on the 200 block of Watauga Village Drive.


Lost property was reported at 3:41 p.m. on the 200 block of Furman Road. A passport was reported lost.

Larceny of auto parts and/or accessories was reported at 5:20 p.m. on the 2500 block of N.C. 105. A catalytic converter was reported stolen from a vehicle.


Breaking and entering was reported at 10:50 p.m. on the 200 block of Furman Road.

June 21
Larceny by shoplifting was reported at 10:12 p.m. at a business on the 200 block of Watauga Village Drive.

Arrest:
Mark Ayari, 24, of 436 West King St., Boone, was charged with disorderly conduct at 9:27 p.m.

June 22
Burglary with non-forced entry was reported at 9:32 a.m. at an apartment on the 100 block of Eric Lane. National championship track and field rings were reported stolen.


Burglary with non-forced entry was reported at 10:34 a.m. at a unit in Appalachian South Apartments.
Burgarly with non-forced entry was reported at 1:18 p.m. on the 200 block of Eric Lane.


Criminal damage to property by vandalism was reported at 8:02 p.m. on N.C. 105.

Arrest:
Jaime Rodriguez, 27, of 117-B Martin Lane, Boone, was charged with failure to burn headlights, left of center, driving while license revoked and driving while impaired at 1:22 a.m.

June 23
A simple physical assault was reported at 12:13 p.m. at a business on the 2200 block of U.S. 421 South.

The use of counterfeit currency was reported at 2:54 p.m. at a business on the 2400 block of N.C. 105.

Larceny was reported at 4:22 p.m. at a business on the 1000 block of Blowing Rock Road. Cash was reported stolen.


Larceny was reported at 6:34 p.m. at a business on the 2700 block of N.C. 105 South. Petroleum products were reported stolen.


Larceny was reported at 8:14 p.m. in the parking lot of New Market Centre. Two ladders were reported stolen from a truck.

Burglary with non-forced entry was reported at 4:45 p.m. at an apartment on the 100 block of Leola Street. A laptop computer and various DVDs were reported stolen.

Arrests:
Lisa Whitson, 35, of 2144 Big Hill Road, Boone, was charged at 9:47 a.m. with failure to appear on a charge of fugitive from justice on a charge of fraud in Tennessee.

Colin Hand, 18, of 782 Blowing Rock Road Apt. 110, Boone, was charged with disorderly conduct and simple non-physical assault at 4:30 p.m.
