Crimestoppers needs
the public's help
Watauga County Crimestoppers requests the public’s help in solving the following crimes:
•Sometime on Friday, May 30 between 7 and 9 p.m. someone took property from the bed box of a green Dodge Dakota pickup truck parked at Brookshire Park in Boone, taking about $500 worth of property including a pair of climbing gaffs, rope, black and yellow plastic toolbox, a one-ton “come-along,” yellow extra long jumper cables, a toolset, ratchets and tow straps.
•Sometime between Sunday at 6 p.m. and Monday at 4:40 p.m. a Ford truck parked at U.S. 421 South and Bynum Trivette Road was burglarized. A DeWalt skill saw, Pioneer CD Player, Diamond plate tool box with hand tools, 150 Cobalt socket set, Porter Cable Saw Zaw, Black & Decker Screw Gun, Black & Decker Battery skill saw were stolen.
•Sometime between May 23 at 4 a.m. and June 4 at 7:30 p.m. a burgundy 2005 Volkswagen parked at a residence on Clint Norris Road was damaged by being scratched down the passenger side rear door and rear quarter panel.
•Between Friday, May 23 and Monday, May 26, someone took a teal colored 1994 Subaru Legacy 4-door sedan from the parking lot of the former Deep Gap Dollar Mart at the intersection of U.S. 421 and U.S. 221 in Deep Gap.
