May 20
An assault was reported on the 200 block of Saddle Hills Drive in Boone. The victim reported having been shot with a pellet gun.

Tampering with personal property was reported on the 1300 of the Winkler Creek Road in Boone. The victim reported a person had put some type of liquid substance into personal hygiene products.

Communicating threats was reported on the 2000 block of Payne Branch Road in Blowing Rock. The victim reported a person threatening to destroy property.

Steven Brian Yardorough, 30, of 316 Chinkapin Ridge, Seven Devils, was served with an order for arrest for failure to appear in district court on charges of driving while impaired, speeding and expired registration. He is scheduled to appear in district court on July 8 in lieu of a $500 cash bond.

Barry Lynn Sebastian, 46, of 3703 Edgewood Drive, Greensboro, was served with an order for arrest for failure to appear in district court. He was placed in the Watauga County Detention Center and is scheduled to appear in district court on June 23 in lieu of a $5,000 secured bond.

May 21
Larceny was reported on the 400 block of Firethorn Trail in Blowing Rock. The victim reported a leather coat stolen from a garage.


Breaking and entering, larceny, and damage to property were reported on the 1800 block of Highland Hall Road Apt. 6, Boone. An apartment was forcibly entered. One hundred dollars was reported stolen and a shower curtain, shower head and medicine cabinet were reported damaged.

Larceny was reported on the 300 block of Dutch Creek Extension in Boone. A cement mixer valued at $2,500 was reported stolen.

Traci Delp, 38, of 2130 Big Hill Road, Boone, was served with a criminal summons on a charge of school attendance violence. She is scheduled to appear in district court on June 30.

John Junior Delp, 47, of 2130 Big Hill Road, Boone, was served with a summons on a charge of school attendance violation. She is scheduled to appear in district court on June 30.

May 22
Williams Aaron Hodges, 33, of 481 Arnette Holler Road, Vilas, was served with a warrant for arrest on charges of assault by pointing a gun and communicating threats. He was placed in the Watauga County Detention Center and is scheduled to appear in district court on July 10 in lieu of a $1,000 secured bond.

A civil disturbance was reported on Preacher Billing Road. An argument between neighbors was reported.

Larceny was reported on the 200 block of Elk Lane in Deep Gap. A prepaid debit card, valued at $500, was reported stolen from a mailbox.

May 23
David Ray Ferrell, 30, of Margaret Street, Mountain City, Tenn., was served with a warrant for arrest on charges of attempted breaking and entering, transporting an open container of liquor and disorderly conduct.

He is scheduled to appear in district court on June 30 in lieu of a $1,000 unsecured bond.

Shonna Marie Jones, 35, of 1256 Ray Brown Road, Boone, was served with an order for arrest for failure to appear in district court on a charge of driving while impaired. She is scheduled to appear in district court on June 30 in lieu of a $1,500 secured bond.

Damage to property was reported at a business on the 300 block of the N.C. 105 Bypass. The victim reported scratches on the fender of a truck.

Damage to property was reported on the 900 block of Little Laurel Lane in Boone. The victim reported paint was spattered on a concrete slab.

May 24
An incident of breaking and entering was reported on the 1000 of the Echota Parkway in Boone. The victim reported a door had been pried open.

Breaking and entering and larceny were reported on the 300 block of Gilliam Drive, town unspecified. Jewelry and money were reported stolen.

Larceny and breaking and entering of a vehicle were reported on the 700 block of N.C. 221 North in Deep Gap. A pistol and a checkbook were reported stolen from the vehicle.


Barbara Amy Dickerson, 32, of 1495 Cobbs Creek Road, Boone, was arrested on view on charges of driving while impaired and open container. She is scheduled to appear in district court on July 10.

Timothy Andrew Harding, 30, of 302 White Springs Road, Blowing Rock, was served with a warrant for arrest on a charge of disorderly conduct. He is scheduled to appear in district court on June 30 in lieu of an unsecured $1,000 bond.

Damage to property was reported on the 200 block of Smith Isaacs Road, town unspecified. The victim reported a vehicle had been pushed into a porch post.
