Boone Police reports:
April 2
Larceny by shoplifting was reported at 8:27 a.m. at a business on the 100 block of Old East King Street. A can of beer was reported stolen.
April 3
Burglary with forcible entry was reported at two businesses on the 1300 block of Blowing Rock Road. Several items were reported stolen including wine, clothing, cigars and a snowboard.
April 4
Simple physical assault with a sexual motive was reported at 3:06 a.m. on the 1700 block of N.C. 105.
Fraud with a debit card was reported at 11:23 a.m. on the 200 block of Boone Heights Drive.
Possession with intent to sell or deliver a schedule II controlled substance was investigated at 6:58 p.m. on the 1100 block of Blowing Rock Road.
Arrests: Alex McKinley Vaughn, 22, of 128 Excalibur Circle Apt. 106, Boone, was charged with parole and/or probation violations at 6:29 p.m.
April 5
Criminal damage to property by vandalism and larceny from a motor vehicle were reported at 9:17 a.m. on the 300 block of Highland Avenue.
Arrests: Roger Kyle Moore, 19, of 628 Cherry Mountain St., Forest City, was charged with a provisional license violation and driving while impaired at 3:02 a.m.
Edward Wilson, 19, of 2043 N.C. 105 South, Boone, was charged with second degree trespassing and a deferral agreement violation at 11:21 a.m.
Joseph Marcoux, 64, of 2324 Bairds Creek Road, Vilas, was charged with driving while impaired at 3:12 p.m.
Josie Elaine White, 35, of 529 T.N. 126, Bristol, was charged with driving while license revoked at 8 p.m.
April 6
A vehicle pursuit was reported at 5:18 p.m. on Fairway Drive.
Larceny from a motor vehicle was reported at 5:29 p.m. on the 200 block of Shadowline Drive
Criminal damage to property by vandalism was reported at 6:38 p.m. on the 2500 block of N.C. 105.
Arrests: Jason Lynn Brown, 24, of 2146 Silverstone Road, Zionville, was charged with failure to stop at a red light, driving while license revoked, larceny by shoplifting, two drug violations and possession of drug paraphernalia at 5:34 p.m.
