Boone Police reports:

March 14
Larceny was reported at 12:55 p.m. at a business on the 1700 block of Blocking Rock Road.

Fraud by obtaining property money or property by false pretenses was reported at 6:44 p.m. by a business on the 200 block of Watauga Village Drive.

Simple physical assault was reported at 6:44 p.m. on the 200 block of Watauga Village Drive.

Arrests:
Kimberly M. Moore, 34, of 574 Old East King St. Apt. 203, Boone, was arrested at 9:14 p.m. on a charge of communicating threats.

March 15
Larceny from a motor vehicle was reported at 6:45 p.m. on the 500 block of West King Street.

March 16
Criminal damage to property was reported at 6:48 p.m. on the 100 block of Faculty Street.

Burglary with forcible entry was reported at 7:46 p.m. on the 200 block of Wood Circle.

Arrests:
Sander Denham, 22, of 36 Piney Mountain Church Road, Candler, was arrested at 1 a.m. on charges of speeding and driving while impaired.

John Whittington, 41, of 231 North Depot Street, Boone, was arrested at 10:39 a.m. on a charge of fraud by obtaining money or property by false pretenses.

Monta McGhee, 44, of 506 Waldon Avenue, Harriman, Tenn., was arrested at 11:30 a.m. on charges of probation violation, three separate drug violations, three traffic violations, and driving while impaired.
