Watauga sheriff’s reports:
March 11
Nicole Jamie Bowers, 27, of 724 Heg Greene Road, Deep Gap, was arrested on view as a fugitive from another state, Florida. She was placed in the Watauga County Detention Center and is scheduled to appear in district court on April 1 in lieu of a $30,000 secured bond.
Larceny was reported at a residence on the 3200 block of Kellersville Road in Sugar Grove. A lap top computer, valued at $1,200, was reported stolen.
Forgery was reported by a business owner living on Meat Camp Road in Boone. The victim reported 25 business checks had been forged, with a total amount of over $58,000.
Damage to property and larceny were reported by two residents on the 1300-1400 blocks of Highland Hall Road in Boone. The victims reported trees cut down and firewood taken from their properties without authorization. The total estimated value was listed at $1,950.
Larceny was reported on the 500 block of Rock Creek Road in Boone. A computer, color printer, digital camera and an iPod were reported stolen, with a total estimated value of $1,975.
Communicating threats was reported by a resident on the 3000 block of N.C. 88 in Zionville. The victim reported a threatening note left inside their mailbox.
Charles Wayne Trivette, 41, of 1172 Orchard Road, Deep Gap, was arrested on view on a charge of resisting, delaying or obstructing justice. He is scheduled to appear in district court on May 8 in lieu of a $1,000 bond.
Camilo Alvero Rivera, 25, of 6302 U.S. 421 North, Vilas, was arrested on view on charges of driving while impaired, speeding, careless and reckless driving, and no operator’s license. He was placed in the Watauga County Detention Center and is scheduled to appear in district court on May 6 in lieu of a $1,000 secured bond.
Damage to personal property and harassing phone calls were reported by a resident of Woodhaven Trail. The victim reported phone calls and the side of their vehicle had been spray painted while parked in the driveway.
March 12
Margie Marie Danner, 34, of 172 Huffman Road, Vilas, was arrested on view on charges of driving while license revoked, possession of drug paraphernalia and a fictitious registration plate. She is scheduled to appear in district court on April 8 in lieu of a $1,000 unsecured bond.
Eric Neil Ward, 30, of 1120 Mabel School Road, Zionville, was served with a criminal summons for driving while license revoked. He is scheduled to appear in district court on May 12.
Assault on a female was reported at a residence on Wildcat Road in Deep Gap. The victim reported a person putting their hands around the victim’s throat.
March 13
David Charles Deiters, 34, of 385 Jenwill Drive, Deep Gap, was served with an order for arrest on a charge of failure to appear at a scheduled court date. He was placed in the Watauga County Detention Center and is scheduled to appear in district court on April 2 in lieu of a $1,500 secured bond.
Anna Mae Warner, 18, of 10430 N.C. 194 North, Todd, was served with a warrant on three counts of cruelty to animals. Three live dogs and one dead were released to animal control. Warner is scheduled to appear in district court on April 22 in lieu of a $2,500 unsecured bond.
Larceny was reported by a resident on the 500 block of Hodges Gap Road in Boone. The victim reported two bank statements had been stolen from their mailbox.
Damage to property was reported near the intersection of Fire Tower Road and Almost Heaven in Boone. The victim reported a lock cut had been cut and a metal gate had been struck with a vehicle.
Larceny was reported at a parking lot on Brookhollow Road in Boone. The license plate was reported stolen from a vehicle.
March 14
Larceny of a motor vehicle was reported on the 8000 block of U.S. 321 North. A 1999 Mercury Cougar was reported stolen from the side of the roadway.
Larceny was reported at a construction site on the 500 block of John Ward Road in Sugar Grove. A DeWalt saw, construction calculator, Airmax framing nail gun and two plunge routers were reported stolen. The total value of the items was estimated at $1,364.
Damage to property was reported at a residence on the 100 block of Beck Court in Boone. The victim reported the rear window of their vehicle was shattered with an unknown weapon.
Larceny was reported at a business on the 4400 block of U.S. 421 North in Vilas. A person drove away without paying for $20 in gasoline.
March 15
Loretta Honeycutt Williams, 42, of 4492 Meat Camp Road, Todd, was served with a warrant for arrest on charges of misdemeanor stalking and harassing phone calls. She was placed in the Watauga County Detention Center on a 48 hour hold for the stalking charge, and in lieu of a $500 secured bond on the harassing phone calls charge. Williams is scheduled to appear in district court on April 2.
Sommer Dawn Trivette, 27, of 71 Pineola Baptist Church Road, Newland, was arrested on view on charged with driving while license revoked and driving while impaired. She was placed in the Watauga County Detention Center and is scheduled to appear in district court on May 8 in lieu of a $750 secured bond.
Trivette’s vehicle, a 1999 Subaru Outback, was impounded.
Damage to property was reported on the 1300 block of Greenridge Road in Deep Gap. The victim reported a person driving over their mailbox, tearing it down.
March 16
Monta Jeannette McGhee, 44, of 179 Harrison Road, Boone, was served with warrants out of Wilkes County on charges of resisting a public officer, providing fictitious information to an officer, speeding and no operator’s license. She was placed in the Watauga County Detention Center and is scheduled to appear in district court in Wilkesboro on May 29 in in lieu of a $1,000 bond.
Breaking and entering and larceny were reported at a residence on the 400 block of Horse Shoe Ridge East in Deep Gap. The victim reported a person entered the home without the use of force and removed a pack of Benadryl.
March 17
William Cromartie Lennon Jr., 16, of 2387 Georges Gap Road, Vilas, was served with a warrant for arrest on a charge of communicating threats. He was placed in the Watauga County Detention Center on a 48-hour hold. Lennon is scheduled to appear in district court on April 16.
Damage to property was reported on the 1700 block of Old Watauga River Road in Sugar Grove. The victim reported a damaged mail box.
Larceny was reported at a business on the 300 block of N.C. 105 Bypass. Nearly $1,200 worth of construction equipment and a camera were reported stolen.
Damage to property was reported at a residence on the 7200 block of N.C. 194 in Boone. The victim reported a damaged mail box.
Larceny of an automobile was reported by a business on the 800 block of Council Ward Road in Sugar Grove. The victim reported a vehicle was not returned after a test drive.
Tony Ray Mcelyea, 47, of 631 Stout Road, Mountain City, Tenn., was arrested on view on charges of no operator’s license, a fictitious registration and possession of a schedule II controlled substance. He was placed in the Watauga County Detention Center and is scheduled to appear in district court on May 8 in lieu of a $3,000 secured bond. Mcelyea’s vehicle, a 1989 Ford Mustang, was impounded.
Ryan King Velie, 40, of 174 Courtney Lane, Vilas, was served with a warrant for arrest on charges of second degree trespassing and assault on a female. He is scheduled to appear in district court on April 22 in lieu of a $500 unsecured bond.
