Larceny was reported at a business on U.S. 321 South. A person drove off without paying for $15.42 in gasoline.
Lauren Lee Johnson, 19, of 618 Greer Lane Apt. 1, Vilas, was served with a warrant for arrest on charges of possession of marijuana up to one half ounce and possession of drug paraphernalia. She is scheduled to appear in district court on March 6 in lieu of an unsecured $1,000 bond.

John Eric Anderson, 21, of 404 Farmington Woods Drive, Cary, was served with an order for arrest for failure to appear at a scheduled court date. He was placed in the Watauga County Detention Center and is scheduled to appear in district court on March 6 in lieu of a $500 secured bond.
William Lee Owens Jr., 49, of 320 North Depot Street, Boone, was served with a warrant for arrest on charges of driving while license revoked, resisting public officer, and felony fleeing/eluding arrest with motor vehicle. He was placed in the Watauga County Detention Center and is scheduled to appear in district court on March 18 in lieu of a $7,500 secured bond.
Fraud was reported by a resident of Peoria Road in Sugar Grove. The victim reported their checking account was used without permission and a check for $4.95 was paid.
Jerry David Tester, 39, of 186 Monteagle Drive, Boone, was arrested on view on charges of driving while license revoked, failure to register vehicle, no inspection sticker and an open container of alcohol after consuming. He was placed in the Watauga County Detention Center and is scheduled to appear in district court on March 18 in lieu of a $1,500 bond.
Allen Padgett Thurman, 38, of 489 Oak Grove Circle, Jefferson, was served with a warrant for arrest for two charges of felony financial card fraud and one charge of felony financial card theft. He is scheduled to appear in district court on March 6 in lieu of an unsecured $6,000 bond.
